That isn't what I said. Someone said something about not making a gender reveal a big thing because it can be hurtful for those that have lost a child or cannot have a child. And I said, that the same could be said for having a child's birthday party.
I never meant anything about WDW.
That is literally all I've been talking about. That is what the OP was talking about (having this at WDW). Yet you continue to stamp your feet about the whole idea of having gender reveals. Yes, we get it, they are a thing that people do. I, personally, think it's ridiculous to make a show of them at WDW. It's as simple as that. Not to mention the fact that whatever props (be it a box of balloons or what have you) will also have to be toted back out of the park after the super-special photoshoot is over, since I highly doubt Mommy and Daddy-to-be will want to cart that around in the park the rest of the day. It just seems like a whole lot to do for one picture.
And I was the one that mentioned that I wouldn't do this because it would be like rubbing it in the faces of others who are childless at WDW. And others agreed with me, so I know I'm not alone in my thinking. Maybe I'm just the type of person who thinks of what effect my actions have on others.
