47 degrees early this morning. :sad2: This is ridiculous.

Yes, I wish I was in WDW. I even had a dream about it last night. All of us fine Babnanas got together to meet in WDW and 2 of you decided you didn't like me and wanted to leave me behind. :rotfl2: What a stupid dream.

Sorry your neighbor is such a pain LM. You will love our weather down here. It's been mid 80's to 90's. Though it's been raining a lot, which we need. It shouldn't be anything to ruin your vacation.

We just realized our trip will be a lot colder than we thought so we need to find warmer clothes for the kids. The highs in parts of Alaska we're going to is the 50's. :scared1: That's colder than our winter weather.

How many of us wish we were at WDW right now with Amanda? :thumbsup2

It pays to bring at least one set of heavy clothes per person, just in case.

This weather is getting ridiculous. I should not have to wear a long john top under my sweatshirt in June. Heck it would be nice if I didn't have to wear a sweatshirt. Short sleeves would be awesome.

I saw the sun for 45 minutes today. It was wonderful. :)

Which two? I know it's not me. Even in dreams, I'm not that mean. :snooty: (despite the name.)

I think I'm going to find some long johns to wear under my clothes during excursions. It's much lighter weight than sweaters.

I know Amanda was one and I was trying to figure out the 2nd one when I woke up. I know it was not you or LegoMom.

Good idea. I really like my silk long johns from LL Bean when I want thin and light weight. They are very thin, but make a big difference.

...and sharers of BIG-HAIR hairspray....popcorn::

I need to get motivated. I've been running around all morning and now that I am home, I feel lazy. I planned on getting a bunch of stuff done b/c it's my son's 17th b-day and a few people are coming over this evening. Why am I on the computer? Maybe a 2nd cup of coffee will do the trick.

...or 3rd...or 4th....or....

Happy Birthday to your son, SadieDog!

You know, I never had "big hair" in the 80s. It was fairly flat and I hung onto the "feathered" thing until at least '85......:lmao:

.

I was just reading a couple of posts on FB by amanda........ Now I'm askeered. She posted earlier that basically the MK was wall-to-wall people so they were getting out. On the "other" planning site, today's overall crowd level is a 7, with the MK getting a 7.6. On the day we're planning to go, it's also an overall 7, but with the MK having a 7.9 (let's just call it an 8, shall we?!). I've been when it's crazy-nuts crowded and you do get to a point of not being able to enjoy yourself.

If Test Track wasn't down, I would seriously consider Epcot instead. :sad2:

I had very big hair. I made my bangs as high as they could go and the sides of my hair winged out. :sad2: The 80's were not a good time for fashion.

And I second the birthday wishes to SadieDog's son! :yay:

I mentioned on Amanda's FB post that the crowds could be due to Florida residents getting their last few uses before the blackout dates hit. I know we'd be going tomorrow after the kids finish school if we weren't saving for the cruise at the end of the month. Hopefully that means when you are here, the crowds won't be too bad. But it is Summer break, crowds do get bad at all the parks. Just be prepared to go with the flow.

I think that's very good advice. Given that we only have the one day, I think the MK is still the best bang for your buck. It just has so much more to do (rides). If it gets so crazy that we're all at our wits end, we can always take a monorail ride, or a boat ride to Ft. Wilderness for the get-away factor. We're going to commando-tour for the first couple of hours, then slow it down, grab FastPasses, and just hang back and see how it goes.

Just know that one day YOU will be back. Other people going nuts may be on their once in a lifetime trip. Let them stress, you don't have to. We say this to ourselves each time we go so we don't get stressed out over missing something or waiting in line.
