Looks like you got there fine, kwit.
Hi SadieDog!!
![]()
Sadie, if you were down here, I would find you a job in one of my schools. That whole work issue is ridiculous.
See I won't have that problem.....to the contrary I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to get everything done before we leave!!
We've got to get DS10's birds down to his cousin in MA, I've got to get the apt. in tip-top shape (landlord is going to do a semi-annual walk-through while we're gone....), do everyone's laundry so we can pack, and try to live on left-overs for the few days before we go so the fridge is fairly well cleared out!
AND, I'm still working right up to the day we go!!
.
Mean Queen -- question for ya...on the day our family goes to WDW (weekday), if we are in the car leaving the coast at 6am, will we beat the worst of the Tampa traffic?? I know it's got to be a solid 45 minutes from there to the city, and I'm always concerned about getting bogged down over there!
So my shelf in the living room committed suicide early this morning. Surprisingly only two things broke in all the crashing mayhem. The anchor things just pulled right out of the wall. Carp.
Looks like a nice day here....today and tomorrow, then we seem to be heading right back into this rainy pattern. It needs to get its soggy self out of here before our trip!! Nothing worse than night driving in the rain.
Gotta get my day started.....Hope y'all have a good one!!

kimmar those young men look pretty sharp in those black tuxes!!Prom dresses, however, have come a long way since my high school days.....

It will be tight from the beach. It takes me between 30 - 45 minutes to get to the area you'll be at and I'm 5 minutes away from where you'll get on the interstate. Traffic from the beach into town can be busy in the morning because of all the people leaving for work. So that will be almost an hour to the interstate from where you are staying. Between 6:30 and 7 is when it really starts to get packed just over the Howard Frankland. After 7, I'd take the toll road (if there wasn't currently construction that makes it take even longer.) So you may take about 2 1/2 hours to get to Disney rather than the 1 hour 20 minutes it usually takes me from my house. That should still get you there before the park opens.
I agree! It looks like a Hollywood red carpet rather than prom. Where's the ugly puffy sleeves and pink lace?
