Nah. We hardly ever go to the movies anyway so I had no idea who was even up for what. Just not the Hollywood glamour type I guess!

Now, the Country Music Awards hosted by Brad Paisley on the other hand......

Mornin' y'all! It was nice to be able to sleep an extra hour this morning....I'm working this week but the kids are off from school. DH and I are also dropping off one of the cars this morning for some bodywork. It needs this done anyway, but it's part of a list of things that need to be done before the trip in June.

I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Nook this week!! Among other things, I discovered that the 2011 version of the Unofficial Guide to WDW is available as an eBook! I'm gonna pop that on there and have it available for our trip. I did subscribe to the on-line version, and that's nice for the Crowd Calendar and such, but I like having some of the park info in book form (we may actually be following one of their Touring Plans, since we are trying to basically do it all in the MK, in one day, in the summer.....). I'm trying to talk myself into taking in the Country Bear Jamboree. Never seen it. No particular desire to do so, except that it's a classic and who hasn't seen it, y'know?! ::sigh:: I think I'll put it on the list of things to do if we've done everything else, and/or it's hot and we need a break.

We have taken 2 Disney trips as a family and my kids have not seen Country Bear Jamboree. They have no interest to sit through that. I saw it once long ago, but I'm sure it's different now. Like you, maybe if hot, tired and need a break.....while I happen to be standing next to it.

Honestly I think it's exactly the same!! It's one of those that gets refurbished when needed but never changed. I could be wrong (Mean Queen could probably tell us) but I think it's the same show as ever! I just have no interest in it. I'm not a "show" kind of person in general. I like Philharmagic and the Muppets, but those are 3D movies. I'd rather do a ride.

Country Bear Jamboree is the same as it ever was. I have one friend who hates it with a passion, so we never go when she's with us. We go when we feel like having a seat in the a/c and watching some very old school Disney.

What's funny is that I've heard it (on Live365)! And I am keeping it in mind for our trip for A/C purposes (MK + June + crowds....). Although I think we would all be happier buying some frozen lemonades over near the Tom Sawyer Island raft entrance, taking them over to the island, and hanging out on a shady bench over there. I reminded DS12 the other day, in talking about our summer plans, that Tom Sawyer Island is in the MK, where we'll be going. His face lit up and he was so excited!! I love to still see that spark in them, esp. the older ones whose everyday lives have become very much about "cool."

So just when I thought I had it all figured out, I get a notification this morning that my Nook order has been delayed due to exceptional demand. They "hope" to be able to ship by next Monday but if I prefer to cancel they understand and I can do so on the site.

This is not good news to an indecisive person!!!!!!!!

My options are:
*Wait it out and "hope" they do ship next Monday
*Cancel the order and get a Kindle instead
*Cancel the order and register for the Tower of Terror 10-miler race in Sept.


Good. Freakin'. Grief.
