That's what DH is thinking too. We had such a mild winter, he's afraid we're in for it this summer. My Blazer temp said 84* but I know that was higher than the actual. It was so beautiful today! Warm, but beautiful!

I was parked on black top yesterday, my car thermometer registered 97. That was about 10 degrees over the regular temp, but it won't be long before that's the average. It's going to be a long, hot summer.

My kids are wearing shorts to school today. It's already 55*, and the high here will be 85* according to weather.com.

My guess is that it will be 90*. Weather.com is typically off by a few degrees.

Good morning. Yesterday was in the 40's and today will be too. After 2 'warm' days, I'm not impressed with mid to high 40's. I have to remind myself it's still March. Looks like it will be warm again this weekend.

Our Surveying Business is here. And once you have to deal with crews working in all kinds of nasty, dangerous conditions in this heat.......The snakes and gators are already out in full force.

Are you kidding? Noone wants to work with Life Skills. Half of the subs that come in we never see again because they don't like our kids. Our kids scare them.

Well LM, would you be saying bring on the heat if you were still in Texas? Because the heat down here is much different than NH. I'm definitely not looking for cold (which is why I'm in FL) but I would like another month in the high 70's during the day to avoid a full year of high a/c bills.

I loved the heat in TX!!! No, I wouldn't want to live there without A/C, but I hate - repeat, HATE - the cold!

Actually it totally depends on which part of the state you're in! Far west is dry and desert-y. East/south (Houston) is tropical and much like FL. Central (where we were) is kind of a blend of the two. We weren't desert but we were not as humid as the coast (it did get humid, but not soaking wet....).

Never got to Six Flags. We had a less-than-stellar experience with the one here in New England several years ago. It just soured me on SF altogether. We did, however, go to the original Schlitterbahn water park -- now THAT'S how to spend a hot TX day!

You should take a road trip over to Sandusky, OH. Cedar Point is one of the top-rated amusement parks in the country!

I went there as a kid, loved it. It's no Disney, but it definitely was in Universal range with the roller coasters.

I love Cedar Point! I haven't been since college, but yeah... the coasters are definitely on steroids over there.

Sandusky is about 4.5 hours, Cincinnati is just over 3 hours. We're not that far from either Cedar Point or King's Island. HOWEVER... I'm the only thrill-ride junkie in the house.

Good morning. It's 33. Just warm enough that it's raining now instead of snowing. Cold and damp.

Today is the day I was supposed to work all day. Then she called her mother to come for the day. Gee, thanks. I only worked 1 day this week.
