Babnanas 11: "Boo-boo's are OUT, Toast is IN….

....don't. go. 'thee'. :furious:

[....apparently I (or I should say someone on my behalf) made a deal with the Tag Fairy that I needed to finish my TR and then I'd get some cool tags - AND, my lil' dancing toast .....well, I'VE kept my part of the bargain but someone *ahem* *cough* *tag Fairy* *sputter* hasn't...

Don't look at us.

If memory serves me correctly, the Tag Fairy come up with that all by themselves.

The rest of us were just cheering from the sidelines. :stir:

So I've been caring for this little neighborhood kitty the last couple of days and nights. I've seen this cat around the neighborhood since we moved in, over 2 years ago. The sad fact is, it was probably left behind when someone moved at some point, and has been wandering around trying to fend for itself. :sad1: Anyway, we've had frigid weather the last couple of days, and last night they had wind-chill warnings for -25*. The night before was about 0*, so I had set up a shelter out front here and put it where it was as out of the wind as I could place it. I put an old towel in there, covered in a piece of fleece fabric, and also a bowl of dry food. Wrapped it all up in an old rain poncho, and left just a tiny opening. Sure enough, he/she found it two days ago!! We see paw prints out here just about every morning, now I know it's this certain kitty. It's been hunkered down in there ever since. Yesterday afternoon I brought out a can of some tuna and set it down just outside the box, then stepped back. It came right out to investigate and sure enough, a little later the can was cleaned out! I did the same thing today when I got home from work, and as I pulled back the edge of the towel to remove the old can, it stuck its head out and meowed a bunch of times. So sweet. It then went right to work on that can of tuna! I put extra water in the can too, since there isn't much natural available in these temps.

::sigh:: .....anyway I'm glad it at least has a place to stay out of the wind and hopefully be a tad warmer than if it were just sitting on some porch somewhere. Poor lil thing.... :sad2:

...you're a good soul...

SO I have a question for those who do trip reports...

I tried writing one once. In fact, the entire thing is actually finished in a Word document. But I only ever posted half of it. No one was really reading the parts I was putting on here (half my trip took place in other parts of Florida, so I posted the first half on my blog).

However, THIS year, I'm only going to Florida for five days. Two days will be spent at Disney Parks, one day at Downtown Dis, and two days at Universal Studios.

If I wanted to write a trip report and put it on the Trip Report board... could I do it WITH the Universal Studios days?

Or do you think it's just too short, anyway? My report will be filled with pictures too, as I'll be carrying around my camera.

And does anyone have trip report writing tips? :)
