ROAD TRIP!!! I wish. I have never ben to DL. Hubby and I keep talking about it.....
You know how that goes. :rotfl:
Go when you can! It's worth the trip! We went with my brother in 2011, and had a blast! We took 2 days to drive down from San Francisco, stayed 3 days at DL and took 2 days to drive back. :cloud9:

So I was awake at 4am today and couldn't get back to sleep. So by 5:00, I had coffee made and sat myself down at the computer and started a rough spread-sheet of our plans for May (which may actually become April, but I digress....).

How's that for a tad obsessive?!

:rotfl2:
Sounds normal to me! :rolleyes1

Our anniversary is April 24th. That week is also school break for our kids (but it's later than most schools so it's considered Regular season at WDW). It would be easier to go when they don't have to worry about getting to school, so we're looking at changing the dates. Airfare, when released later this month, will determine that.

I still don't love the new FP+ system, but I've learned to look at it this way: instead of thinking of it like you are tied to a bunch of time slots ahead of time, look at it as though you are guaranteed at least that one round on your favorite rides/attractions. If you arrive and want to change your plans, you can do so right at a kiosk (you have to be flexible with your times, but it's still an option).

.
Your anniversary is 3 days after ours. And your kids will be out of school and out of your house before you blink. Enjoy it now!

We finally made our FP+ selections this past weekend, and thanks to DH's procrastination, we didn't get some of the rides I wanted, so I'll be checking several times a day. :headache:

Thanks for letting me know about the kiosk. Maybe there's hope yet!
Good morning ya'll. :goodvibes
Good morning! :goodvibes

I feel your pain! I work from home, so many people think that I do nothing during the day except play on the computer. :confused3

One former leader in a group I'm in forgets that she's no longer the president and that I do work during the day, actual income producing work. She sees that I'm online and thinks that I have time to do what she wants me to do on the website or the Facebook page for the group. She also does not know the difference between a web page and a Facebook page, so she's always giving me headaches. She thinks that giving someone instructions on what to add to a web page or Facebook page makes her a web guru. ACK! :scared1:

Thanks for letting me vent! :flower3:

I bet you wish you could time warp to the "Rum and Romance Escape".

I mean if you could really time warp.. then why wait.

on the otherhand.... there's times I wish I could time warp backwards...

Actually, I enjoy the waiting and planning every bit as much as the trip itself!! While I loved this May's trip, I wasn't terribly involved in the planning all that much, so it lacked a certain element of anticipation. I missed that!!

Yikes, has anyone else had trouble getting on the DIS?! I'm finally in; had been getting "server too busy" since yesterday afternoon.

Overcast here with rain coming later. It almost makes the foliage more vivid, though (we're near peak here). I'm planning to have a nice Saturday mostly to myself - DH is taking the boys to "the city" for a while; Monday is DS[turning]15's b-day and he wants to go to the guitar store and the BMX bike store and look around. I plan to get laundry done, do some baking, and scrap book more Disney pics from May!! That's a good Saturday. :goodvibes

Saturday was a magnificent day. The weather was great and I ended up in a spring clean frenzy. I finally got the front garden all pruned and weeded; I emptied out my wardrobe and turfed out two big bags full of clothes I don't wear anymore; and I cleaned out files on my laptop.

OMG. Look how productive I can be when the Dis is down!!!! :rotfl:

(Yes. I had issued getting on all of yesterday)

Sounds like ya'll had a busy but productive day. We have as well. Had a ton of errands to run. Had lunch out. Hubby brought me home and he had to run back out. Today has been so incredibly beautiful... I just don't want it to end. :goodvibes According to out local weatherman, this could be our first week with no rain in months. :cool1:

Well thanks for sending it all up here...... out of the next 7 days, we're looking at 3 with no rain. :headache: When that happens this time of year, all the leaves get blown down before the tree can really peak, so it kind of wrecks the foliage.

Well, that stinks.
I know ya'll usually have beautiful foliage. Here, we just have a tree here and there. :rotfl:

....spending the WHOLE WEEKEND grading tests and doing interim reports....BLECCCHHHH!
