A good early morning to you (or, for PiO, a good evening!).....
and HAPPY OCTOBER!!!

.
I'll be in California next weekend. How does Wednesday 15th sound for a Disney fix?
I'm on the other coast.
I hope you have an awesome time though!!!!![]()
There's time for you to run away and DisMeet with me.![]()
ROAD TRIP!!! I wish. I have never ben to DL. Hubby and I keep talking about it.....
You know how that goes.![]()
My DH and I were actually in the very early planning stages of making next spring's trip a trip to DL. Then I realized that airfare killed that idea. For some reason, even though a particular ticket might only cost $100 more (than a ticket to FL), it's DOUBLE the points (and I'm booking this trip with points). SO stupid!! So, CA will have to wait. Maybe someday....
.
How long do you need to give yourself to really enjoy DL?
So I was awake at 4am today and couldn't get back to sleep. So by 5:00, I had coffee made and sat myself down at the computer and started a rough spread-sheet of our plans for May (which may actually become April, but I digress....).
How's that for a tad obsessive?!

If you ask the Aussie Dis-sers, it seems most of them are doing 10 days!! That's because we can get a 10 day ticket for not much more than the price of a 5 day ticket here. Disneyland will only sell 5 day tickets at the gate now. Comparatively, the tix to Disneyland will seem more expensive than WDW because you can only get a maximum 5-day pass.
If you go during a time where it isn't busy, I would say 3 days; but you are doing it commando style.
Obsessive? Nah. You is just Disney.
And tell us about this April you speak of.
Wow... I guess I better do some research. We don't commando anymore.
We enjoy .... strolling. But it is sounding like this new fast pass system isn't so great for that.

Our anniversary is April 24th. That week is also school break for our kids (but it's later than most schools so it's considered Regular season at WDW). It would be easier to go when they don't have to worry about getting to school, so we're looking at changing the dates. Airfare, when released later this month, will determine that.
I still don't love the new FP+ system, but I've learned to look at it this way: instead of thinking of it like you are tied to a bunch of time slots ahead of time, look at it as though you are guaranteed at least that one round on your favorite rides/attractions. If you arrive and want to change your plans, you can do so right at a kiosk (you have to be flexible with your times, but it's still an option).

The new FP system isn't at DLR. Only WDW. Another reason to head to the other coast.
