I called CSR today because my ressie was wrong. The CM had booked an AP rate instead of pin code rate.Today's CM checked and she told me I would save 30.00 more a night per room(we have 2)!Instead of 109.00 a night its 79.00!!!

so what you are saying is that pin codes should be better than ap codes?

Dear Cheryl,
In most cases,yes. The discount is better + you don't have to spend 420.80 on an AP.If you live close enough or have the funds to travel to WDW often,then an AP is a good buy.If not,the MYW tickets are a much better value.Hope this helps.Julie

Previously, AP rates were along the same lines or better than these pin codes.

And you do have to be lucky to get a pin code, they come in emails and postcards that Disney sends to selected people. There are quite a few people who have never gotten a pin code.
