So, did any passholders actually get a spot for the Castle tour?

I just opened the email, and it's dated today about noon. I was SO excited because Dec 15 is DH's birthday, we'll be there, I have nothing planned for it yet, but wanted to do something special, and he would have been through the roof to get to go inside the castle suite! But alas, it's already booked up. Darn.

Where are people getting notices about castle tours? I didn't receive one for the last one or this "new" one.

The email went out to passholders, I got mine mid day yesterday. As soon as I read the mail, I logged onto the passholder site and there were still times available - but then I realized that we were leaving on the 13th, so would not be there after all.

I considered extending the trip a couple of extra days, but by then the passholder site seemed to be having issues (probably due to demand) and kept throwing errors when I tried to book a time, so I gave up.

I checked again in the evening and by then all the slots were booked, as were the ones for the American Idol backstage tour at DS for the 14th.

I got the e-mail at 3:00, and by 3:30 the site was down. It was closed by 6:00 last night! I was lucky enough to go during the DVC event, but I was trying to sign up my husband, who wasn't able to go with me. I'm thinking that based on the popularity, they might just do this again!

I got the email around noon yesterday, logged on right away and it was full. Can someone explain that one????

No, really? My pass is currently expired although I have my voucher for a new one so I'm not getting emails. But we'll be there at that time - I would have LOVED to do the tour. It might have made up for the Merry Mixer being changed from Thur (as we planned), to Friday (when we're getting on a plane).

Received the email, but we have no plans to return until May. I wonder how often these things are snapped up by passholders in the Orlando area.
