We will be traveling july 8-july 16 .The members of our family are my DH, myself,DS 9,DS7, and DD 5. Now according to Tour Guide Mike he says avoid emh parks. Does anyone else agree? What have been your experiencese with emh am in the summer months ? I am really not interested in the evening EMH. originally I was planning doing EMH AM then leave about 1, rest then different park in the evening. So what plans have worked for you in the summer months? Thanks for the info

Unfortunitly during the busy months it doesn't seem to matter what park you're in.EMH or not its just BUSY.

Hi, we went last july 17th-24th and avoided every emh park like the plague. We walked onto just about every ride and were able to fully utilize fast pass. We had hoppers and would do one park in the morning and after a break at the hotel would go back to another park for dinner and wandering about. It was our first trip and worked wonderfully. We are doing the same this July 9th-16th. I only worry about leftover forth of July crowds this time, so we'll see.

I couldn't agree more. However, I would avoid an EMH park like a sickness no matter what time of year you go. Trust me. You can get a lot more done at the other parks. If you want to be out later, check out DTD instead after your regular park touring. That or simply go back to the hotel and rest up for your next big day in the parks!! :)

I guess i will rearange our plans and avoid the EMH am. Plus this gives us a little more sleep in time after a late night before. Do you think the 4th crowds will be thinning out then? Also what days do you plan to visit typhoon lagoon or BB? I see they have EE... think I should utilize this? Great info thanks

EMH can be your friend at MK and MGM. These are the only two parks we usually use EMH. If you want to do the headliners in these parks, or have small children in the case of Fantasyland, EMH are the best way to see alot in a little time with little waits.

We go in July every year and even if we weren't going to an EMH park it is esential to get up and out early. Beside being less crowded the afternoon sun is brutal.

We were there last year in July, the EMH evening at MK was packed. Regular hours were till 11, so EMH went till 2AM. We stayed till 11:30, only thing we did on EMH was Astro Orbiter, it was a nightmare. :( NO air stirring, wall to wall people, it was so crowded on Main Street that they had a back way behind the shops open, that was really cool, cut time down conciderably. The heat index was probably still around 100 at 11, we walked onto Space mountain at 10:30, they were getting the Fast pass machines ready, only letting EMH guests get them though, which was nice. I don't think I ahve ever seen it that crowded though.
