That was just downright rude. Brian Worth was nowhere NEAR "nasty looking". To make a comment like that is very shallow! I thought Brian was a cutie, and I'm sure a LOT of the posters on here would agree! While he doesn't fall into the "work out hunk" category, he was still very attractive!

Interestingly enough I received some PMs from other members about your comments, they just don't want to get into a debate with you on this board. I don't know why I have wasted my time either.

Skiwee, just an FYI--Brian doesn't work at the airport. He is an AUDITOR for the Dept. of Homeland Security which means he audits the books for a division of the federal government. This would make him an accountant, and most likely a CPA. Not that there's anything wrong with working at the airport either...

I found the end to be less than Oooahhhawsum (picture yourself in a major league ball park ) Everytime I heard that word, I kept also hearing nails on a chalkboard

I think the worst ending of a reality award still goes to My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance......this was a close second.....but that's another thread.

At the end of it we all hoped she would pick Brian, but all knew she would pick Gil......(come on, admit it....) she's 25 and has lived that sort of "beautiful people" lifestyle all her life. If she picked Brian, we could have had our first "spin-off" reality show, maybe: "My Average Joe Fiance" or "Life with the Beauty and the Bostonian"......endless possiblities

What was all that about Favio ??? LOL! Best TV laugh in a long time!!!

Confession time: I too was kind of creeped out by Brian. It was his eye's - all that Soap Opera "ish" staring - especially at the end when she was telling him he wasn't the one! Gil was also a bit frightening in his own way. However - this is the magic of television - I'm sure they are very different in "real" life.

I guess my problem is I still don't understand why anyone would parade him/herself on TV like that. Pretty desperate IMHO (for attention, love, money, fame, an acting career??, whatever - insert your own word/opinion here.......)

I guess I'm just as bad for watching ...........

I'm done with these "relationship" reality shows. Gotta go now.......and perpare myself for the upcoming Survivor episode.......now that's gonna be some good TV!!

Can we get back to the subject? For those of us who didn't see the Today Show - are Gil & Larissa really back together? So - they just "brushed off" the whole ending? We're to believe that they are really a couple?

Looks like master manipulation on the part of the show's producers. I gotta give these shows up - such a collossel (sp?) waste of my time!!

Apparently they were never split. At the end of the show last night you see Gil leaving in a huff and Larissa sitting on the sofa looking sad. Well Gil said today that they both left together at the time they were supposed to leave. The show edited it to look like Gil had left the show early. Larissa said that they have been tlking to each other daily since the show ended. They even spent the night at a hotel in Ft. Lauderdale after the show at some point. Gil said it upset him to hear about Fabio because he thought it was going to be another twist to the show and he didn't want to see where it was all going. They seemed like a happy couple but don't they all for the first month or so!

I started laughing when i found out that was Larissa's secret. It was ridiculous for Gil to freak out so much over that anyway. Editing is evil.

Being from Boston I wil say he has a typical Boston accent! There are many parts of Boston & the accents are all different. He sounds like he is from the south or north of Boston. Nothing wrong with his accent.

You are so right. We never really get "the real story" with all the editing that goes on.

I felt bad for Brian. I was really hoping he had a chance. He seemed very sincere. But if a woman doesn't have a physical attraction to a man or vice versa, I really don't believe they have a chance for a relationship. Just my opinion.

I just wanted to say here.. I have been watching this program from the beginning as my husband works with one of the guys in Boston.. so we as a family were very interested in this program.

Now for the final Brian, my youngest daughter has met him a few times in Boston and what a sweetie he is. She spoke with him and he was very gracious, basically what you see on TV. I felt really bad for him that he fell for Larissa, I was hoping he would not get hurt. Of course, we were hoping that Larissa would pick him, but of course realistically, we thought she would pick Gil.

But bottom line here, why did Gil get so upset over her dating Fabio or whatever his name is.. what is the big deal?? I thought that was laughable.

I did love Brian's Bahsten accent.. it scares me that I sound like that too..
