Autograph book

We've done 4 trips with my daughter and have got 36 signatures and or photos...

I made a similar book last year for our trip. I bought a mickey scrapbook that holds 8x8 sheets of paper. I found a list of the characters and made sheets for the ones I thougth we would meet. Hot off the Press makes a booklet of 8x8 disney pages. A lot of the characters I found in there. The others I cut down from larger size papers or made pages with stickers and printouts. I used colored sharpie markers that matched the papers. Characters loved seeing themselves!

I took some sheets of plain paper in various colors in case I didn't have a sheet made for some characters. I used plain white cardstock for the cast members at Epcot. In each country, I asked a cast member to write my daughter a message in their language. I then took a picture of the cast member and my daughter. Some thought it was odd, others were quite pleased that I would want a picture of them.

Now, all I have to do is print the pictures and add them to my scrapbook! When I started making it, my husband thought it was a waste of time. But when he heard all the compliments from other guests, he realized it was well worth it for me.

Is it too late to get a copy of your autograph PDF file? I did on search on the boards, and it sounds like you got an AWESOME response. If not, that's fine...but figured it wouldn't hurt to ask. Thanks!

Send me your email address and I would be happy to!
If anyone has recently asked me to send them one and not heard from me, please accept my apologies and let me know - it has been a CRAZY month!

Hello Fellow Canuck

Would you be able to send me a picture of your book as well. I would LOVE to do this for my niece and nephews for our trip in May.

If you have time I too would love to see your book. (dmc142@sbcglobal.net)
I set out yesterday to get the materials to make one but I was not happy with the books I found. The only books I found had that craft foam on the front cover and I think any decorations may come off putting it in and out of our bag.

Hi there, could I please see the pics and the PDF file too? The first year we did autographs in a note pad, pages fell out. The 2nd year we did T-shirts, amazing. This year I'd love to do the scrapbook idea you have. Thanks for posting this. kgrymonprez@cogeco.ca

Alysa, got the file you emailed. Thanks. I'll try to post a picture when I finish my autograph book.

hi to all,

Does anyone have a website with pictures of these autograph books or links to these ideas? A lot of the posts just have emails bouncing back and forth. I can't PM alyssa with address cause I'm fairly new posting. I would love to see everyone's ideas for these books and alyssa's pdf file. I hate to keep pinging with email but if possible, my email is maria@missesdisney.com I have a larger email account that I can't post here if there is a problem with that one. Thanks to all!

Alysa: Sent you PM with my email address requesting pictures and pdf file. Thanks for sharing!

Alysa, I'm going with my granddaughter to Disney World in June and think your autograph book would be great for her. Could you send me the info I need to create one. Please send to rklimczak@sbcglobal.net Thank you for your creativity.

Alysa, we're going in April/May to WDW in 2008 and have plenty of time to craft/put together one of these books. It sounds like a wonderful idea and memories to keep forever.

Can you send me pictures of your book? kinntj@yahoo.com

Thanks,

I'd love to see the pictures as well.

Also, does anyone know if they sell mini-binders? Like, the kind that you can put index cards in instead of paper? I'd much rather make a little index card autograph book than make a big paper one that would only get half the page used. Thanks!!

Been researching how to make a cool autograph book after reading these posts the past few weeks and came across a binding system for scrapbookers online called Rollabind. Seems very cool but before I go for something quite expensive (I'd be able to otherwise use it but just in case) I'd like to see if anyone has used this system before and if so is it sturdy enough a book to make a personalized autograph book out of 4x6 cardstock.

Thanks!

I would love to see a picture of the book. I was just thinking of ideas for something a little more special than a store-bought one. This will do the trick! I can't wait to start working on it!
