August Exercise Challenge

60 more minutes at the gym today: 20 minutes elliptical, crunches and lifting weights. :cool1:

Total so far: 180/1500
 
Only 30 minutes today as I am planning to walk 9 miles tomorrow! Brings my total to 165/1400
 
Please add 100 more minutes for me for the last two days. I'll post again tomorrow, then Sunday is my day off.
 

35 mins of walking today! This is the best idea - why didn't I try one of these challenges sooner?
 
30 more minutes of walking this evening brings me to 165/1000.
 
45 mins today, 20 mins walking and 25 mins stairmachine.
 
35 more min on TM. This challenge is great! I really didn't want to do anything, but I really want to reach my goal (more if possible), so up off my you-know-what!

30 minutes of interval training for me yesterday.
20 minutes of bike riding today.
Today was busy....lots and lots and lots of errands.....and I always parked far from the entrances. So while it's not "organized" exercise, I definitely got my steps in. :)

I'm at 152/800
 
40min. yoga class today bringing my total to 275/1600.

The excercise challange really helps me. I need to be accountable to someone. Here I am accountable to thousands.
 
stretching and 3.5 miles this morning puts me at 180/1200.
Thank God for this challenge, even if I am only adding to it an hour at a time.
 
Yay!! These long walks really help. Nine miles today plus stretching gets me 151 minutes to add bringing my total to 316/1400 :banana:
 
Up and at 'em early this Saturday morning! I ran for an hour (5.5 miles) and did 20 minutes of crunches, push ups, squats, leg lifts, and weights. So, please add 80 minutes to my time bringing me to 330/1800.

Thank you for this challenge! Also, thanks to everyone for posting and helping me feel accountable! I figure, if you all can do it, I had better be doing it too!

We're 1/6 of the way through August, so keep it up!
 
I forgot to add my 30 minute swim lesson from the other day and I did 60 minutes of deep water this morning. Missed my first class but I'll try to get there next week.

That brings me to 295/900 for this week (minus monday) and I completed my first full week back at the gym.
