I think so too. Many people have said Hotwire is best at exactly 3 weeks out and I'm just over that. We'll see as the new week approaches.

Just tried that code - got $235 per week and 33.59 per day- total of 459 for 11 nights for a 7 person minivan so its up a little but still a good rate. The 2 coupon codes i tries dont work with this

We should consider ourselves lucky we booked when we did, because as of this morning, this deal doesn't come up anymore.....I'm happy with mine even if the coupon never works.

I booked with Alamo and used one of their codes online. It stated on last page I may have to submit a coupon, but I only had the code- not physical piece of paper to bring with me.

I am hoping that since it is from their website they won't ask for it. Anyone else have to show a coupon when they picked up the car?

If it's from the website, then it's an "e-coupon" and no need for a paper coupon. I think the coupons they want to see are the ones from places like the entertainment book and some of the other members' websites.
