Bill (SS Oceanlover),
Is Sebastian an American Eskimo Spitz?
He looks like one I had growing up- He is really cute.
Looks like a bundle of energy :yay:
Is that your deck table he's on top of?
michelle (gichicdoc)

He is half toy eskimo and half ****zuh. Yes he is a bundle of energy and loves to bark! lol Yes he's on the table outside. I edited the picture to make it smaller or you would also see the cat laying on the table. Fortunately neither one of them do that in the house.

Bill, your door sign is cool and your dog is adorable

Gichicdoc- brunch is only offered at Palo on the Sea Day (Wed.). I've heard it is worth while to try when you board to get reservations then or get on the wait list if too late. They'll call you if something opens up.

We have a door sign We'll be in 6042.

Can't wait for the space shuttle too, hobbitmomma

Thanks Mrs. Scooby! He keeps me busy. If it wasn't for him I'd get no exercise. Always watched Scooby when I was younger. :Pinkbounc

Gotta love Precious Pup cartoon too. I think he was in the Dudley Doright cartoons with Dick Dastardly!

Where can I buy worms for fishing off the rear of the ship? I have my own pole but I would like to rent another just in case the props grap my line and snaps mine off.Hey bill maybe if I catch something you can have some homemade sushi :rotfl: Welcome to all the new posters :thumbsup2

The bait shop is on deck 5 aft. The have worms and squid. The best part is with the squid if you don't use it all as bait the kitchen will fry it up for you at dinner.
As long as I don't have to clean any of the fish you catch I'm good with the sushi idea!!

For all you stargazers out there....after we are done watching the space shuttle take off, I read that Mars is supposed to be visible next to the moon and as large as it which hasn't happened in 5000 years and won't happen again for 36,000 more years. :wizard:

Hi Glinda,
Hate to burst your bubble, but that is an urban legend. You can check it out at Snopes.com. We got some fabulous views of it a year or so ago. It was very obvious in the sky, but not anywhere close to the size of the moon. I am however, looking forward to just looking at the night sky without the interference of the city lights.

We're bringing binoculars (a 10 year anniversary gift from my old job :cool1: )
Someone on the main forum posted that Mars should be very big with binoculars. At least it gives me another excuse, besides the space shuttle, to bring them :)

I got my door signs laminated at Kinkos today
I wasn't able to get magnetic paper, but I found magnetic tape at Walmart. I'm bringing scissors and putting the tape on the sign when I get to the room. Hope it works :guilty:

Oh guys, when you're fishing.... I like Tilapia ;)

Friends of ours left from NY on Monday from LaGuardia Airport. They arrived at around 5:30am for 8:00am flight - he dropped his wife and kids off at the terminal and it took them about 20 minutes to get through security. He then went to park the car and when he got back, it took him 1 hour and 15 minutes to get through security. Go figure :rolleyes1

Well, all, our flight for Orlando leaves early tomorrow morning. So, this is it for me. Looking forward to meeting you all onboard on Sunday. I'm a little angst ridden, as I always am before a trip, but I'm sure that it'll pass. Now, to finish the packing...

Hi Everyone!
I am soooo depressed. :guilty:
It just flew by!
Theresa (hobbitmomma), looks like you and I are on the same page--trying to make it last just a little longer.
It was so nice to meet you (and everyone) and mingle on the ship.
It was really nice to run into people that you already knew and not feel like an unknown in a crowd!
I would do the board thing again in a minute!!
Theresa, don't forget to send me those pics- they were so awesome!!
Miss you all already! :grouphug:
Best,
Michelle

I hear you! I was welling up with tears when I hugged our servers before we left the ship this morning. Sorry we didn't hook up last night. I wasn't feeling so great with all of that rocking. After the show we packed in a frenzy, got the kids to sleep took a quick stroll up on deck, (nearly got blown away!) and hit the sack. I wish we could have gotten together one more time. I will get the pictures to you as soon as I can. You wanted the Flying Dutchman, right? Did you also want the sunrise/set?

We didn't do the beer tasting but the wine tasting was really good. :thumbsup2
The session provides a level of education beyond what is usually given in wine tasting talks. Like the difference between aroma and bouquet and what the "legs" of a wine are and what they tell you about the wine. They also taught you how and where to taste the wine on your tongue and that you should never really smell the cork...it just smells like cork :rotfl: .
I really enjoyed it and learned a lot.
Bill was sooo funny ... If you remember I had given him my first two martini tastes and so after the wine tasting, he was knocked out! The kids were still laughing about it when we drove home on thursday. They thought he was hilarious!!
