Oh look at that...My DH put the location on his signature on the left as "New Jersey". He seems to have a relapse problem... We lived in PA for 5 years now....Ok,ok he still works in Jersey though....

Mark, cut it out!!!! I know JUST where my decimal point belongs!!!:teeth:
Keep it up or you will NOT get my vote for JGME!!!

Even though you live in a 'blue' state, I won't hold it against you. I have many friends who are blue, but, I'm just glad there were fewer blues than the reds last Tuesday!! LOL

Just wanted to welcome you to this thread. Now don't get us BLUES started again! We just settled the last controversy! LOL!

DVCMBR4, welcome to this wierd thread! I am not even going on this trip, but have to drop in occaisionally to see what crazy things are happening.

Looking forward to seeing you and Melinda in a few weeks on the Wonder. She says that you and I will have a blast talking politics!

Have a great time and pay a visit to our "small" thread about the November 28th trip.

Bob, too!

Hey DVCMBR4
Good to see you and If you'll note there are innumberable "edits" done to your DW's posts. I noticed they have been sanitized and all of the slams against you are now gone.

Well went to see the Bill's game in Buffalo and they beat the Jets!!!!
Good game but probably my last game. My eldest son goes often and he bought me the ticket as a Birthday present. He drove and we had talked about taking my 11 year old daughter as she is a sport's nut. Well he said "I don't really think it is appropriate for Meagan." I said OK.
Well we went early, had breakfast by the stadium then wandered around the parking lots where all the radio stations, and folks were tailgating. Great atmosphere. Into the stadium that was a sellout. We got our seats on the 35 yard line. Great view. Windy as all get out but around 45 degs F so comfortable. Lady and her husband sat beside us and we chatted. Hey this is great. I said to my son "Hey Meagan would have loved this.". He just looked at me and said give it time they aren't all here yet.
GOD was he right!!!! Right around 1:00 pm it looked like the time when the bars are kicked out. More drunks than you can shake a stick at. Many were happy drunks and were good to joke with but many were just obnoxious. We had a crew behind us and every second word began with "F" and much worse yelling at the top of their voices. They started after a Jet's fan in front of us and it went downhill from there. I've heard the word a few times in my life, and maybe even used them but there were kids and women everywhere. That is one place you KNOW you don't comment or you're toast. Needless to say I don't think I'll be taking Meagan to an NFL game soon :)
The game was good though, and it was a neat experience. I sure hope alot of the fans were on busses cus there is no other way they'd be getting home ;)
Got home last night (about 300 kms) and we have about 2 - 3" of snow. Looks like winter has arrived. :)

I don't know if you'll get this message Melinda (as I know you're not on here much and are ignoring me :hyper: ) but add our group to the early diners. Our ressie has already been linked to Jazzman's.

Cheers,
Grumbo

Well, Sunday was a good day. Dale Jr. won the race and the Steelers killed the Eagles so I'm very happy. Since there's no hockey, can't root for the Devils.:(

Reneé

Well, i am not into football, nor racing, nor hockey...Just baseball for me but it over til spring....

WOW!! Grumbo, Too bad you don't wear hearing aids like i do, i wouldn't hear any of the F word going on!! Sometimes i do better off not hearing everything going on in the world!!

Ok, i am still ignoring you but i make an exception for a minute. How many of you in your party as well as Jazzman?? I know one of you guys are bringing your parents. Just let me know how many and i add you to the list.

Snow? huh? Don't bring em here!!! I don't want any problem with flight delays when i leave here for WDW in 2 weeks!!!

Good morning, all! Welcome, DVCMBR4!!!

Had to catch up this morning - I've actually been off the board for over 24 hours!:earseek: After church yesterday I did some early Christmas shopping, then DH and I took Lara to see "The Incredibles" (Loved it, by the way!) After making dinner, we watched "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" which was 2 hours last night. After getting Lara ready for bed I started to log on, but Lara was right there, begging to "catch up" on the children's thread and to send some messages to her friends.

Since it was almost 9:30, I shut down the computer and went to bed with her instead - starting Monday morning with an over-tired little girl is NOT my idea of a good time! (I also had DH whining that he was running out of shirts and wanted me to iron some!) Imagine - real life cutting into my cruise thread time!!!:teeth:

Melinda - you now have TWO other posters in your family! How will you still find time to post?!?

Barbara - thank you SO much for the detailed list about Disneyland! I don't care how many guidebooks I can read, it's still far more reliable to get the info from someone who truly knows the parks! I truly appreciate the effort you and your DH put into your post. I've already copied it to Word and filed it under "Disneyland info" so it won't be lost in the chatter. If you had time to meet for ice cream or a few rides, we'd be thrilled to hook up with you!

Grumbo - love that snow picture! Unfortunately, it will be us real soon:earseek:

I was describing this thread to my 33 yr old niece on Saturday and told her about how we're arranging meets, linking dinner ressies, etc. She said we sound like the "LavaLife" Online Dating Service searching for the perfect group to spend our vacation with! LOL

Have a great day! Contrary to popular belief, some of us actually DO work during the day (even though it cuts into our board time!) One thing about being a Network Administrator, I have an excuse to be glued to my PC all day! (I also work an hour or two from home most nights because we can't mess with systems while users are logged in during regular business hours!) The fact that I can be catching up here while waiting for installs to complete or systems to restart has cut down on the whining I do to my boss about the "in my free time" projects!)

Later!

Arlene

There are 7 of us in our party, and with Jazzman and Denise's crew brings us up to 11 at our table.

Cheers,
Grumbo

Ha, we have already found the perfect group. We may all change our minds after 14 days at sea, but for now, it's just perfect.

I don't know that "perfect group" is the correct terminology. Maybe the term "perfectly matched" would suit this group much better.

There's a LAW against getting sick before a trip to WDW - Especially one that includes a cruise! DO ANYTHING to get healthy before you leave.

Arlene

Gee, I wish I had known that! I got sick the day before we left on this past trip and it included a cruise on the Magic. I was sick for 2 weeks!

Oh Denine that is horrible!! Hopefully that won't happen again!!Did you felt more sick on the Magic??

I agree with Arlene!! I have been giving doubledoses of Vit C to my kids...They give me that look every morning!!
I am much better, thank you...Been taking antibiotics and washing hands so much that i have dry skin already!!

Oh, my DH called me before and told me to tell you that his computer at work has been down all day so therefore he couldn't look here today!!!!(oh, poor baby) But what am I? His secretary??????

LOL - will he be impressed or disappointed at how quiet it's been here today??? BTW - you have enough jobs at home - "secretary" doesn't need to be one of them!;)

I have to take Lara to Gymnastics tonight and then work for a couple of hours; I'll be back to check out the evening posts later!

Oh, Denine - how terrible!!!!!:( I hope it didn't interfere with TOO many of your plans!

Other than being sick, How was your trip? Descriptions, please!

First off, Welcome DVCMBR4!

I caught a nasty head and chest cold the day before we drove to FLA for our cruise. I could barely talk at our DISMeet, but had fun anyway. I laughed (and coughed) so hard the night DH was chosen to be the "dummy" for the ventriloquist. I really needed my video camera! Kaleigh was teething the whole cruise and caught my cold the Monday after the cruise which turned into a double ear infection. DH was sick for the 2 days driving home. We did manage to have fun and utilized Flounder's every night so we could spend some time with our friends. Very smooth seas. great weather. We booked for 10-14-06 while we were on board. We had Kaleigh's first haircut at WDW after the cruise. We went to MNSSHP. If you are cruising soon, you have to check out pub night in Diversions. They do a skit which is ROFLMAO funny!

I am so looking forward to DL. We will actually have to do the child swap thing so we can go on the Matterhorn and other's.

Well, Denine, sounds like you had a good time anyway despite....

I will check out the Diversion when i go on Wonder in a few weeks. I am thinking of booking the 10/14/06 cruise!! That is my Dh and I wedding anniversary date!!! That would be cool of some of us going on that...
