Thanks for the hello! What are you doing on this thread? Are you a "lurker" like my wife. She says she is always sneaking around other threads to annoy people. I think she is very successful at that!!!

Anyway, looking forward to our trip in a few weeks, although I don't really have time to think about it usually until the weekend before! Melinda has had her suitcase packed since September!!

Unfortunately, she is on the wrong ship (assuming she ever gets her documents...she probably didn't even sign up for the cruise!!!) Anyway, we will be on the Magic the same week, so I will do a little recon work to see who and whats happening next August. Be curious to see how much they know about us!!! I will deny knowing anyone named Mark!!!

Mark - Melinda used to be a 'dirty jersey gal' until we moved to PA five years ago, so she'll know actually what I meant about riding the bananna boat at Castaway Cay! However, it fills up fast so register early!!

Scratch - Ok, I'll lighten up on the politics (Melinda enlightened on the history of this topic on this thread). But, remember my blood runs RED and I wouldn't have it anyother way!!


Grumbo - Thanks for sharing your experience at the NFL game. Unfortunately, you will see that behavior copied at every ball park. It really is a shame, but not surprising when you read about the behavior of elementary and secondary parents at their childrens games. We are baseball fans and just discovered how much fun going to a minor league game can be. It is much cheaper, stadiums are smaller so your closer to the players and there is much more fan interaction. My kids really enjoyed it. If you are a baseball fan, then I would encourage you to give it a try.

My internet will be fixed by tommorrow, so I'll to peek a bit during the day. Melinda may be sorry she bugged me to log on!!

Hey buddies,

Just a quick thanks for the laughs tonight! I was in to work at 7 a.m. and did not get home until 6 p.m. tonight. Needless to say, it was one of them days... I needed a good smile!

1. Melinda's Bob - IDLE TIME?!!! As a past SAHM now back to the workforce part-time, I can assure you that Melinda does not have any...wanna change jobs with her, lol! You are right, we girls stick together!

I speak from experience when I say that having a job will not cure this. Just about every day I try to find a creative way to scrape up enough mulah to visit WDW or go on another cruise .... DH has the same mindset at you do. He won't consider a vacation farther in the future than the nearest one. Having DVC points is bringing him around, though.

Yeah, You tell him, girl. I don't know what his problem is though!! We are DVC members and have plenty of points each year for future Disney vacations.. He's the one that says "Do we have enough points??" and keep adding on...Mind you, we added on 5 times!!!

Hi Paul:
We probably have snow non stop from around the beginning of January through to early/mid March on the ground.
Last winter wasn't too bad at all, whereas the year before was a son of a gun.
Although we are only about 80 - 100 kms from Toronto we get way more snow because we are in a "snow belt" area that dumps snow off of Georgian Bay/Lake Huron. It is alot like Western New York and the Erie Pa area gets dumped with the white stuff off of Lake Erie.
