Ok Susan, i get the staterooms # when i finialized the list....

Are we downloading S L O W L Y??? or is it me????? :badpc:

Yes, the boards are VERY SLOW today.

Renee – I don’t know if you’d be interested, but we’d love to have you join us. We’re a multi-generational group, DH Martin and I and our daughter Lara who will be 9. DH’s Aunt and Uncle (both 82) are coming along. Lara is great with younger kids (plenty of practice with cousins!), and both Auntie and Uncle love young children. Haley would be a very pampered princess!!! We’re a civilized group – no food fights or talking with our mouths full!:teeth:

If you’re looking for a family with younger kids that’s OK too. The offer is open.

Arlene,

That sounds great! As long as you don't mind eating with an almost 3 year old (you know how they can be sometimes).

LOL – There are days I would question eating with an 8 yr old! They all have days/time when they’re not at their shining best – that’s what makes them kids! We’ve certainly all been through it before so Haley would be a lovely addition to our group along with you and your DH.

Perfect – Table for 8!!! We can PM details later to let Disney know what we want.

We’ll save Disney the problem of trying to “match” us with another family. Last time, we started out on Late dining, but we were changed to early after our first dinner. We were sharing a table with a family of three with a 15 year old son. He certainly seemed less than enthused to see us ... The only common link between our two families appeared to be that they were from Canada!

Grumbo - we've already included Mark in our "neighbourhood" dining link! We'll just trust Sandy to keep an eye on him!;)

I am a Sagitariius and DH is a Leo. We have managed to stay married for 30 years and get along really well. That is as long as I say "yes dear." Of course then I go and do my own thing.

We have late seating and I think we are a table for 10. It is us WD (okay senior moment), that's 5 and our TA and 3 friends. Making 9. Have to talk to them and see whether they want to link to this insane group of people. Oh yes we have late seating.
DH and I went to vote about 12:45 thinking we might have to wait for a long line. We walked right in. No wait. Hope everyone on here, who is eligible, has or will vote. Grumbo you know neither you nor any of us can vote often. Even if we might want to. Oh heard and interesting story, some town in Ohio found some ballots in the trash. Seems there are only about 1000 registered voters. But with the ballots in the trash 1800 people voted. Gotta watch those voters coming from the cemetaries. :scared1:

Funny, that's exactly what I thought someone would write. I think dinner will be great if we're all on the same rotation and in the same section. I'll try to behave no matter who is my tablemate. I figure by the time dinner is done, all the kids will go running back to the clubs and then the adults can start the evening festivities of clubs, bars and shows. I still picture Melinda's parent walking D&N to the front of the Walt Disney Theater looking for their reserved seats.

DeniseW- We'd happily link up with your group for a table. (I'll bring pictures):p

Thanks for the info on the bus from the port to MCO. Count us in (3)

This last cruise, we were at a table for 6, 3 of us and 3 of them. The bad part was, since I was sick, I couldn't hear very well, and one of the other family suffered from hearing loss. Nice people, just hard to talk.

Will be voting today when DH gets home from work. A yucky, rainy day.

I am a taurus and DH is an aquarius.

A second bus company has answered my request for service. Here's the e-mail:

Hello Mark,

You requested transportation for 49 plus people from Port Canaveral to Orlando International Airport on 09/03/05. The cost would be $401.50 including driver gratuity.

Our motor coaches are fully equipped with reclining seats, A/C, restroom, VCR with five monitors, AM FM cassette player and private microphone for the group leader to use.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to book services. I look forward to the opportunity of working with you.

Sincerely,

Melissa Ennis

Is someone keeping a list for late dining as well? We are a group of five and would love to be in the same area with other DISers.

Hello all. While I have early dining, I think that I will go with what DCL assigns me as a single. Who knows, I may get seating with Bob the Hottie!

I voted, I was number 3030. There are about 15000 residents in my town, but I don't know how many are adults and how many of those are registered. But with this being a "swing" state, we have had our share of visits from all candidates, the wives, the kids, the assorted hangers on. I will be so happy not to hear or see the ads.

Mark, I think that I will take you up on your bus offer to MCO. I will just pick up my car there, as my sister will be coming in to MCO that day anyhow.

Actually..............

Jazzman was on a business trip to Japan some years back, and it is a BIG thing to go on Karaoke Bus tour after dinner. And yes, he had to get up and sing, in order not to offend his Japanese hosts. So perhaps he can be Master of Ceremonies????

Denise :teeth: :teeth:

As I said before, I don't know how many pages back, I'll take on the list of late diners. I think instead of just posting it on the board, whoever is on late dining and wants to be in the splash zone, I mean same area as the rest of us fools, just PM me and I'll see what I can do!

The only way I will karaoke is D, but not N.

You guys are so silly. If this cruise completes with out anyo f us being put off the ship, it will be a miricle.

ETA - DH and I are both Taurus. I personally don't believe in all that "What's your sign, baby" stuff, but it is fun to see how different people react to each other depending on their sign.

Thank goodness that Karaoke thing isn't genetic! DH is Japanese Canadian but he could not be PAID enough to ever sing Karaoke - D, N, or otherwise!:jester:

Loves sushi and a good sake though!:teeth:

Let's see, we have pre-cruise hotel meets planned. Dis meets onboard planned, dinner meets planned, post cruise transportation meet planned. We'll either be great friends or sick as heck of each other by the time this cruise is over. Anybody ready to rebook another repo cruise yet??

Kareoke might be fun for this group. The last time we did Kareoke was a blast.
