Can you fit everyone and your luggage in a minivan? I know when we've had 6 people, with luggage (granted for a 7nt cruise) we barely fit in the regular size vans with the extended luggage storage that you can rent from FL Tours or Happy Limo.

Dropping 1 car is easier than dropping 2, but you can often rent the smaller cars for cheaper than 1 larger car or minivan.

That is the concern--will we (and our stuff) fit? 6 suitcases and 6 carry-on bags (everyone is flying in)... The price difference is ~315 for the minivan and ~440 for the 2 sedans, so I'd really like to have the $125 to spend on something other than the vehicle. Generally I'd say it's a "convenience" fee and deal, but if it makes the drop off at the port more complicated (especially with the changed port opening confusion and our varied arrival times) then it's less of a convenience!

What has everyone been up to this weekend??

I learnt to ride a bike this weekend. New York City parks had a 2hr lesson on teaching adults who had never ridden before. It was real fun exercise, but my butt is real sore.

I walked 5 miles through my neighborhood with my dogs and discovered new shortcuts and pathways I never knew about. My dogs didn't bark for the rest of the day. (They say a tired dog is a good dog!)

I visited a new local farmers market held at my DD old middle school and spoilt myself with a carrot and raisin oatmeal organic cookie.

I made a fruit salad and went to a workmate's home for dinner.

And I crashed my PC laptop, so after the weekend I've found I've got 13 pages of posts to read through. So now I have an excuse to buy myself a MAC laptop.

I am reading through the cruise documents and just got to the part about us being Gold Members. It makes me laugh to see my 7 year old as Gold. I am shooting for her to be Platinum by 10 years old, but my wife might kill me before then.

Candy - i' m worried about this too. My time hasn't changed either and i'm afraid that the earlier times will all be taken by the time they do change ours.

We got our docs for two of our three staterooms! My dad says he guesses he's just not invited on the ship. Hopefully they're just stuck in the mail and will be here tomorrow!

I have to say, I love getting Mickey mail! Makes it feel so close!

You could take a chance and change it yourself to 11:00 before DCL assigns you a later time?

We chose 11:00-11:30 and are still in that slot so I can't tell if that one is all gone or not, but the three slots after that (up to 1PM) are grayed out.

For me the times start at 11am. That is grayed out, I'm at 11:30am, then 12 and 12:30pm are both grayed out with 1pm and later showing as available.

How odd that is shows different availabilities for different people?

I think we are seeing the same thing - we each have our own slots, but everything else up to 1PM is taken. So I guess my original point about switching to 11 for those worried about DCL changing them is moot anyway?!

That is so strange. None of the times are grayed on my screen.

Yeah!!!!! received our documents today.

I updated our credit card info online and it shows that we have not completed the online check in, although I was able to print out the signature form with the boarding info and everything. It also shows complete when I click on the icon to try and complete the online check in. I have called Disney twice and they say they show that it is complete and walked we thru everything again and still shows incomplete on line. Disney said give it a day to update but not to worry that I have completed the online check in. Hope this makes sense.. very excited so i think I am rambling on..

I just started using this to pull all my trip info together and I LOVE it!

You can use it on any computer and most smartphones and it syncs across all of them!!

If you have ever used Microsoft's One Note, it is similar to that except you can use it on multiple devices that aren't on the same network! YAY!

I can pull anything I need from emails, internet, PDFs, images, etc and keep it all organized in notes and notebooks. It does support pulling in Office documents but you have to pay extra for that (I can easily just make PDFs of them or copy/paste the info to get around that!).

I just started but it has already been helpful. I've pulled all my PDF documentation into it and will start my don't forget this stuff list and can add to it on the go from my phone.

I'm so excited to have yet another geeky addition to my trip planning tools!

I think I may even use it to write a trip report while we are away!

Everyone was chatty while I worked today!

It is good to see that all the cruise documents are arriving! It is not going to be long now!

I also see that there is a lot of chatting about the port arrival time. I am still just so annoyed by this but want everyone to keep posting updates because I am curious about if others get changed like mine....a one hour push back does NOT make me happy. I posted on the thread about port arrival time on the main cruise page that I just hope that if I follow the rules, Disney enforces it. I am not going to be happy if I do what I am told because I am told that they WILL enforce the time and then find out that Disney MAY enforce the time (as it says in the documents) - letting people line up and go in early.

Picked up the packaging for my FE gifts today. I am happy because my gift needs packaging. Now I just have to wait for the last of my gift to arrive and I am good to go!

Our Cruise Documents arrived today!!

We leave a month from today for vacation, since we wil be at Vero first!! So excited!! Work has been very busy, our unit is under construction and we have lost over 20 post partum beds, so we are having a "space" issue, besides a bunch of people out on Maternity leave and vacations! The good part of this is that I have worked many hours of overtime so I can have a lot to $$$ to cover our bar bill!! and it looks like I have the opportunity to do many more OT hours before vacation.

Our arrival time is still 11am. I have greyed out areas up to 1pm.

Finished the second piece to our FE gifts today! I hope everyone likes them!!
Now, I just have to finish up the FE gifst for the kiddos.

Feeling like we are supporting the US Economy with all the shopping we are doing for this trip!

Good Evening Everyone,

Soo happy that we are all getting our documents....My parents got theirs today too. Theirs is a different front cover than mine....

Today, was soo hot and sunny today. We swam this afternoon and have the girl's second grade teacher coming over with her one year old son, and another family. She was our most favorite teacher and we love having her over for a visit every summer. Tomorrow,, is going to be HOT again. I love it....

If anyone is in need of any back to school supplies. Staples is having there 25cent sale this week and one dollar sale. They have some GREAT deals!!
I hate to think about back to school yet but when we return from the cruise we only have two nights then school starts!!
