Woe is me. My cruise documents haven't arrived yet so I am trying to wait patiently for them. In the interim I have joined the packing cubes frenzy and purchased them in four different colors. I can already foresee two little girls arguing over who gets to use the raspberry color. Maybe I'll assign that color to myself to avoid any twin tiffs over the issue!

I think I want an ipad also, but I have a question for all you ipad owners.
I have an iphone and a Macbook, DH and DD's think it would be silly to get an ipad, are they right? I think I really want one though, it also serves as a kindle also, correct? Please let me hear your opinions, thanks

I have an iphone, ipad and mac book pro and use each one differently. The ipad is great for traveling as it removes the need to take a laptop when I travel. I can read, watch movies, surf the net, send email, and play games and it fits in my purse. I used it on our last cruise and was able to check email at the ports which was a much better connection than what the cruise ship offered and much cheaper. I will definitely have mine with me.

I must say I like the look of the dcruise docs - they are very different to the ones we had previously.

The spiral bond booklet is better.

You would have thought the info regarding the opening of the terminal would be clear - I can not find it any where There is a section saying Arrive on time -boarding starts around 1pm and everyone has to be on board by 3.45pm

In the section Embarkation information - it talks about the passports needed. It then gives you a vacation summary and it has our Palo & Remy meals noted.

The port opening time is not mentioned anywhere - I've looked closely and cannot find it in any small print

Therefore looks like I'll be going to the holding area as unless I get an email from DCL I am arriving at the port for my 10.30 checking in slot

Hi Janeanne! I am in Burlington, with Kritter! We've chatted about trying to get together sometime at her house before the cruise so we can meet before the cruise...summer seems to be flying by and it's hard to get a date that works for everyone! In very small print at the bottom left of the contents page

It says The parking facility and cruise terminal in port canaveral opens at 11.00 am As part of the online checkin you will be asked to select a port arrival time. please arrive at the appointed time for enty into the terminal building. Those arriving early may be asked to wait.


Well I printed out my online checkin that states my arrival time is 10.30 - so thats when IM arriving for.

It has been an crazy busy weekend!!!

CRUISE DOCS CAME TODAY!!!!!

I found the part where it says what time the port opens! It's on the bottom of the "Table of Contents" page. It is under "Important Communications"!
I hope this helps anyone looking for it!

My fear for those who printed 10:30, is that they will change it on you anyway, online and on their list, and make you hold anyway. Of course if you get there at 10:30 they most likely won't let you in anyway, as they are saying the parking lot won't open till 11. What a mess.

My fear for those who printed 10:30, is that they will change it on you anyway, online and on their list, and make you hold anyway. Of course if you get there at 10:30 they most likely won't let you in anyway, as they are saying the parking lot won't open till 11. What a mess.

I'm a little worried because I just went on the website and I am still listed at 10:30-11:00. I'm worried that when they finally change it, it's going to be a late time because all the other times are taken!!

That's weird, when I go in, there isn't even a 10:30 showing up as greyed out, it's just not there.

That is wierd! I just looked at the page that has the arrival times and it still has 10:30 listed to click on! Very strange. I'm not sure what to do!
