You know, I don't know why you can't log in before your booking window and at least SEE what is available (with times/prices).
That would really help with planning! :headache:

I'm just jealous of everyone who's already been able to book! :worship:

Hi Everyone...Another cool day in NY with MORE rain on the way. enough already!

Well a couple of months ago SWA came out with their fares for our cruise and I was all ready to book, then DANG $252 to get to Florida and $287 home OUCH!!!:scared1:
Well I always check and this morning I checked and tada a $154 flight was available to get us to Florida, so I booked 6 one way flights and am waiting out the return flight, I will persevere :cool1:
I also booked a mini van to get us to the port, BJ's wholesale club has a 25% off coupon on their website, after playing around with it and getting sticker shock I put in their code and....chaching...Booked!:thumbsup2

I'm on a roll, soon we will be paying in full, the only bad thing about the cruise is it's at the end of August, so as much as I want to cruise I don't want summer to end :(
Hope everyone else had a successful day :woohoo:

Did anyone else notice something strange when you look at this cruise on your CC page? Here's what I saw tonight:

Anyone else seeing the strange cruise description? I love it when they make a system update and fail to account for the different types of 5nt cruises that they have out there!

Hi Everyone,

I haven't posted here for a really long time but would love to join in. Although I sent my requests to concierge I haven't heard back from them. I am sure they are very busy but being the anal planner that I am I did wake up at midnight to book all my ressies/excursions.

Here is what I booked:

Palo Brunch at 11:30
Palo Dinner - day 5
Cabana 5

Traveling will be my Mom, (78) DDs (16, 7) and DH and I. This sailing is our first in concierge and we are very excited!!! I was hoping for assistance with my Mom on Castaway Cay. She normally stays on the ship so having the cabana will hopefully make it more comfortable for her.

Regards,
Mary

Hi Mary,

CONGRATS, that you got your ressies. I did have concierges book my stuff. I wish I had stayed up too. But they were able to get me everything I wanted....YEAH!!

Hi,

Congrats to you too!! Glad they were able to help. They did not get me anything I wanted because they did not receive my email until yesterday late afternoon. I sent them my requests on Friday morning and immediately received an auto reply so I don't understand how they can say they received it late Monday afternoon. Oh well, good thing I am such an anal planner who has to do everything herself. I booked everything at midnight. I will need them to tweak my Palo ressie if they can but thats about it.

Hope others have better luck with concierge services. So far I"m not thrilled but no harm done.

Mary

Congrats to all those who booked and got what they wanted! :thumbsup2

I've read that Pirate Night is on day 4. We are hoping to book both Palo and Remy, but don't want to miss any of the restaurants. We want to go on nights when we will be in the same restaurant for the second time. Does anyone know what the dining rotation is supposed to be? This will be very helpful in planning!

Thank you! :flower3:

Thank you for this information.
Im pleased Remy had some availbility left.

I guess they don't want guests to get upset if something isn't available when they get ready to book. :confused3

Don't be jealous....just let us know what you're looking to find out and one of us can look for you. :goodvibes

I hope you get all the ressies that you're looking to make! :wizard:

:goodvibes That Dolce & Clemente market is very similar to where I go here in Milano for my food shopping !! :) I see you can get lots of stuff "made in Italy"- like Parmigiano Reggiano , though I think they must be quite expensive.

Will your wife buy a COLOMBA for Easter time ?

We use to have our colomba either plain - or filled with ... chocolate, Nutella, chantilly cream, bitter orange marmalade ..... !!
My Mom used to bake the "family" colomba at home , but I prefer to buy the plain thing at our bakery shop -

then I decorate and fill it with cream or chocolate or ... ;) BOTH !!!

We also use to gift family and friends/colleagues with UOVA (eggs made of chocolate ) : are you doing the same thing in US ? and in UK , Helen ?

On Easter Sunday every family will have its own UOVO , often with creative decorations !!
Tomorrow , our last day at school , every kid will bring ( and decorate ) 2 chocolate eggs : one for his family , the other one will go , through charity groups, to poor families , old people-living-alone etc.

Laura - those chocolate eggs are beautiful!!

Those eggs are beautiful!!

I wasn't sure what a Colomba cake was.... so I googled it and found that you can get a Colomba Limoncello Cake (a lemon Easter cake, classic Colomba and lemon cream). Cake WITH Limoncello (one of my favorite things in the world)?!?! YUM!!

Ginny

Laura, we do give out chocolate eggs here for Easter, but definitely none like the ones in your picture. They look delicious!
