OUR Easter break is here !!! DGH and I will be off work since tomorrow ( Thursday) and we'll be back ONLY on Thursday April 28th !!!



We don't plan anything special - my air cast doesn't allow lot of walking ...
but we will have family and friends visiting , which is always so great !!!!
I know for sure that Marco will be working at home ... some hours each day ..."World ( outside Italy) doesn't stop" , he says

but I'm so much looking forward to some rest and fun !!!

Hi my name is Samantha. I am mjasp's daughter. I just thought I should introduce myself before the cruise. I am fifteen and was wondering if anyone has children that will be going to the teen club. My friend will also be cruising and she will be sixteen. Thanks in advance.

My dd turned 15 in January. Maybe the girls could all start a group e-mail, so they can chat all together?

I haven't been here much lately. I have been so darn busy!!! Our high school performed their first ever musical (because they built this stupid school with no stage, therefor no arts budget, so it had to be entirely funded by the choir director getting donations), and Alexa was in it, so that took up a HUGE amount of our time the last few weeks. It is over now, and it was amazing!! Between that and her 2nd choir it's been nuts.

I am going to pay off my cruise today. It's pretty obvious that brunch will be all gone by the time we can book on May 18th though.

Still haven't even begun to think of FE gifts yet. Prom was last weekend, and I have to move on to my sons graduation now, YIKES!!!! Way too much going on still LOL.

Wnated to pop in and say hi!! Been really busy here. Getting everything ready for my niece's shower on Saturday because we are leaving for Vegas tomorrow and won't be back until early Sarurday. So much to do so little time!

Laura, those eggs and colomba look beautiful and delicious!! An that Torta Pasqualina looks very delicious!!!

Congrats on those who were able to reserve what they what! Good luck on those still trying!

I'm so sorryabout the snow Jen and Erika!! I hope it melt fast!!

We often put up "musicals" - eg for Christmas - at my school .................... but nothing that "glamorous" !!!!!!!!!!

Laura - Yes here in the UK we give each other chocolate eggs for Easter. We also eat hot cross buns -warm with butter

Well today we are going away - we have a couple of flyball competitions over Easter and are staying in our caravan - can I take this opportunity to wish you all a very Happy Easter!
We dont get back till Monday 2nd May and being in a field we will not have good internet access - we might be able to drop in now and then

Yesterday we finally had some sun and Caleb really enjoyed it - he had his first walk out which he thought was great - He didn't like the horse we passed though

What a beautiful puppy! I just love dogs! How old is he? I have an almost 10 month old Lagotto Romagnolo. I will have to post pics later.

I went to Joann's Fabrics today to buy all the supplies I need to make a no-sew fish extender. Hopefully I'll be able to make it with minimal mess-ups. I'm not sure I'll be able to actually make it today, but I'll post a picture once I finish it!

Just finished my fish extender. The no-sew instructions worked pretty well, but I think I'm going to hand sew the pockets and the part that holds the dowel just to make sure they're secure. I'm really happy with the way it came out though!

Hello Everyone! I am so happy it is Friday and I am ready for the weekend! Yesterday was totally exciting and fun....my school passed out the iPads to the students and they were so surprised! We had the local press (TV and newspaper), national press and many important people from the community there. We had an pep assembly and the students just thought that we were celebrating our grant award for all our new programs. After about 15 minutes of activities, loud music started and our staff did a flash mob dance - the students went WILD - and the dance ended with some teachers coming out with a huge banner that said "The iPads are Here!". That made the students go even crazier. It was all so exciting and I was pleased that all our hard work made the event go perfectly. I still have so much work to do but feel a huge relief that the big event is done.

Our family will be going to my in-laws house tomorrow for a big family gathering and brunch. Then, on Sunday, we will celebrate Easter. I hope to head for home mid-day on Sunday again so that we can get to bed at a decent time for another busy week.

Laura - I hope you are taking it easy and enjoying your days off. I have had such a busy week but will send you a nice e-mail this weekend.

Helen - Hope you have a nice trip and have fun at the flyball competitions!

Kristin - It was great to chat the other night! I am so glad you guys are having beautiful weather in Florida. Soak up a bit more of the warm sun for me!

Amanda - Your FE turned out great! I think it is really cute and you did a wonderful job!

I plan on ordering a supply for my FE gifts this weekend. I have part of what I need to start working on the gifts but still need to get some more parts and then start putting it all together!
