August 16, 2011, Disney Dream - Part 2

We're thinking of doing Vero Beach before the cruise too!! Vero is our home resort and it's a great easy drive about an hour from Orlando and about 45 minute drive to Port Canaveral again a nice drive. Maybe we'll see some of you before our Dream cruise!!

Vero is also one of our home resorts. Reading here as a pre/post cruise option has us thinking, too. We are planning on discussing our plans with everyone in the family on the 16th! Thinking that we will book SSR for pre and post-cruise as a place holders @ 11 months and then make some changes based on availability at 7 months. After doing CC for 2 days and possibly the beach in Nassau (though we are leaning to not even getting off the ship in Nassau) we may be in the mood for just WDW as opposed to a trip to the beach in Vero.

We haven't been back to Vero in awhile and a few of us here are "demanding" a trip there. So it will be either around the cruise or the 1st priority for 2012.

We've often thought about Vero Beach and would love to do it. However the thing that stops us is we are nervous about driving abroad. There are just too many differences for us. Now if Disney had a shuttle or somthing we'd be there in a shot.

We just had a friend from England stay with us for a week... his plans this week were taking him out west where he and friend were going to Vegas and then drive to California. Nervous about that drive we let him do a bit of driving here locally first. WOW! I don't think I could just pop into a car over there and just start driving on the left while seated on the right side of the car, etc.

OMG! I promise we are not crazy!!

So, last night, I posted that we were leaving this cruise and going on a b2b in May. DVC didn't have the same idea!!

Long story short, we are using our 2011 points for this cruise and our use year is Aug, so we cannot use them before Aug 1, 2011 because I had already made this ressie. We can use the points until July 31, 2012, but that is waaaayyyy to far out!!!

Thankfully, I never *cancelled* this ressie!!!

So, WE are still cruising with you all and definitely want to participate in the FE swap. Sorry, Jen, we have made a lot of work for you!!

It will just be us, as none of our friends want to come in August! Will you all be our friends??

We are thinking along the same lines. After serenity bay twice (which im very excited about) I think we might do VB in 2012. We still have points left and providing we can get decent priced flights we'll be back in a shot!.

YES! Finally! I am LOVING today as well! I know most people think it is a bit humid out there but I actually was out and about today in my sweats and a tank top LOVING the heat!

ONE WEEK to our ONE YEAR countdown!!!

Those of you who are having a party, making a special meal, having a toast to the date or whatever....share your ideas!

I will be finalizing our plans with DH tonight and will post them here later! I am so excited.

Also, it is great that the package prices for 2011 are now out for WDW as well and I think I am going to book our vacation before the cruise. I just have to decide on dates. So exciting!

LOL, you are a sick puppy!!! Actually the only other creature I know who is enjoying this weather is my dog. She is teeny tiny with almost no fur, so she loves HOT weather. She shivers when it's 75.

I will admit that I am a bit weird with my love of the heat! I am so bummed because our air conditioning is on...this means I will need a sweatshirt later tonight!
