That Hershery Bar is HUGE!!!!!!

The weather here is lousy. But we are getting some much needed rain.

The girls and I are soo sad that we are home from vacation. It was such a nice long trip. Vero Beach, was so nice and the weather was perfect..........

Hope everyone is enjoying their day!!:):goodvibes

The weather here is lousy. But we are getting some much needed rain.

I ended up taking the kids back to school shopping (school supplies). Driving down our street today I noticed everyone has brown grass so the rain is welcomed.

Made a few PS ressies for our upcoming trip. O'hanas for breakfast (first time, usually do dinner), Plaza Restaurant, House of Blues and Garden Grove at Swan (HOB and GG are on Restaurant.com) and Whispering Canyon. Kids want to try T-Rex one day. We'll wing the rest.

Just booked a car rental a few minutes ago. Prices were crazy (over $400 with taxes) but used a BJs coupon and got a full size for under $200 :cool1:

Oriental Trading is having a clearance sale and there's some FE possibilities if you want to check it out.

:banana:YEAH to under 400 days!!

A little too much rain! I thought it was over last night and embarked on a run. About 2 miles into I see the nastiest looking cloud in front of me! :scared1:

I turned around (mind you I live in farmland - there is nothing around for shelter, etc) and start running at like a race pace!! :rotfl: Thankfully it was not another thunderstorm, but the rain came up behind me and it was like getting dumped on by one of those huge water buckets @ a water park! I was wet in places I really didn't want to be wet in either

But I am really excited that we're finally going to have some nice, steamy, muggy, hot, rainy, sweaty, smelly weather this weekend. Because that's my favorite and we haven't had any yet. <insert blank stare here>.... :lmao:

Your ressies, sound wonderful. So exciting that you have a trip coming up. I am very sad that our trip is over but have already started planning our next one.....:cool1::banana:

Great news, about the car rental. What a savings you were able to get.

Funny, you should say that about the Oriental Trading stuff. My daughters and I were looking through the catolouge just this week and there was some GREAT stuff for FE!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

The rain was incredible here too. It was pouring here. Glad, that you did not get caught in a thunderstorm.

It sure has been hot and sticky here as well. Looks, like it is not going to cool down anytime soon. Heck, it is better than last summer though when it rained almost every day!!

Hi all, I'm back from the lake and ready for some computer time! I was unfortunate enough to get run into the dock while I was tubing so my leg is swolen and I have to rest it so I'll have plenty of time on here.
Randy and Candy, you'll be happy to know that I think I've found confirmation that you'll get to see the trifecta of ships on the 7th of Jan. I was looking at Cruise TT and it has the Magic and the Wonder as docked at CC on the 7th. Now I'm wondering if I should change my ressies from the Wonder NYE cruise to the double dip on the Magic?

Hello from Roanoke, Virginia...where I eventually made it after my connection from Charlotte was cancelled .... now if only my clothes would arrive... though Macy's was open so i can go to Court tomorrow in pants and shirt rather than shorts...and it looks like my local counsel has a partner my size, amazingly (I am 6'8"), so i can borrow jacket and size 14 shoes tomorrow...

But let this be a lesson for anyone planning to fly in the day of the cruise...don't do it...

Chuck, I am soo sorry to hear about your clothes. I am glad that you are able to get some clothes....That must be scarey :scared1::scared1:that your clothes did not arrive!!

Happy Tuesday..................................

Any see this about the Fantasy??

Harry, if it is NYC this could be good news for many of us!!:thumbsup2:)

http://www.wdwinfo.com/disney-cruise-line/fantasy-ship.htm

Gotta love the rumors!! It would be nice to have the home port in NYC though. It would eliminate virtually all of our travel costs to the port (selfish of me, eh?!? :lmao:). Bermuda and/or Canada cruises aren't on the top of my wish list though.

My clothes arrived at 1 a.m.....but if need be I would have gone to Court in shorts and tennis shoes...still better than not going at all..

Chuck:cool1:

Chuck, glad that you got your clothes finally!!

Hello all!

We are still around, just in the craziness of summer. I always thought that summer was supposed to be calm, but not-so-much! Katie has been in a Harry Potter Girl Scout day camp this week and we have to be out of the house early to make the bus! She is having a blast though, so that is a good thing. Next week is music camp, then the week after that is Katie's first overnight camp. It is another Girl Scout camp, but it is overnight. Only three nights, but still. I've seen my girl every day for her eight years of life. She is excited about camp, but Mom is having separation anxiety. :) :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyway, we are so excited to almost be at the one year mark. Katie still doesn't know and I can't decide whether to tell her next June on her birthday, or surprise her with the trip on the way. Both have an appeal! My son is too little to understand or care so I don't think that he would care either way. Right now, our problem is that our trip keeps growing. We realized that since they are likely to do Free Dining again next year, it might be better to visit Disney AFTER the trip since it would be after the 15th of August, then we'd need to stay longer and now it is all snowballing!
