So... I have been anxiously awaiting this bag for a while now, I have had the theme in my head forever - I am super happy with how it turned out! :thumbsup2

What I love most about this bag is that it's "reversible" - or at least as reversible as I can make something. From the front - you can't see the back, and switch it around then you have another bag... So it's "almost" a 2fer. :thumbsup2

D~

OMGOSH OMGOSH OMGOSH :cool1::cool1::cool1::worship::worship::worship: I am totally in love and so happy that I gave you total creative control and did not have to figure out my own theme. TOTALLY HAPPY:cool1::cool1:

WOW! I really don't know how you have time for all of that! I'm impressed. ;)Sorry, I am new to this, but where are your auctions. I mean I am assuming facebook but do you have to be invited to a page or something?:confused3 Great work and I love reading about everything!

Congratulations Chiara, that is MY ALL TIME FAVORITE!!!
D~ you have outdone yourself, just perfect! I want one!!

:lmao::lmao: ok this sooo reminded of a little song from childhood:lmao:

cmon people in their Fifties sing along:

Alrighty then I have another one for you:
(for Men who were/are runners)

Ok so I am going to edit this as now I am scared to leave it. See I should have stayed on the balcony. You can figure it out......

Do your ba??s hang low
Do they wabble to and fro
Can you tie them in a knot
Can you tie them in a bow
Can you throw them over your shoulder like a continental soldier
Do your ba??s hang low

I'll remove it completely if you want, stupid sick sense of humor.....

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: its always the quiet ones you have to watch out for !! although I encourage your bad behavior pleaase do not put that on my PTR...no one...I have a male friend/runner on that thread a lot I would be  mortified

I just knew your stuff would sell! It seems as if everyone loved the GAC holders. If time permits maybe you can make a few more of those for your JUly or aug auctions? This way you wouldn't be cutting it so close to the wire? Then agai I have no idea how long they take to make!!! Lol!

...

Do you drape them over your shoulders like a towel? Do you stuff them in your pants/bra??? :confused3

Inquiring minds n' all that... :rolleyes1

D~

So, I had to remember that my office door is open to the lobby when I started laughing at this, so I ended up snorting. and then the songs happened and the snorting continued.

hmmm.... my EARS hang low. :rotfl2: hehehehe

That's the version my Dad would sing when I was a kid. Probably because I WAS a kid, although I got the more risque version of "Drunken Sailor"

OMGOSH OMGOSH OMGOSH :cool1::cool1::cool1::worship::worship::worship: I am totally in love and so happy that I gave you total creative control and did not have to figure out my own theme. TOTALLY HAPPY:cool1::cool1:

LUCKY CHIARA! This is quite possibly the most unique bag I've seen of your's D~

With everyone singing the praises of the Frog Toggs, I may have to look into them. I'm in the same boat as Alli - I had an incident with dehydration/heat stroke last year and now I'm more susceptible. And I can't have Power-Aid. It's made with coconut water (awesome natural hydration, BTW) but I'm allergic to coconuts. Nothing Severe, I just itch from my head to my toe. And I'd rather not be squirmy or itchy at Disney.

Quick drive by (I am attempting to download over 900 photos to the computer...) The last version of the song is the one I always heard...hubby was a drill Sargent and that was one of the cadence they marched to....

No water bottle though :lmao: 1996 tenth anniversary (boy were we fit)

Oh this bag is great. You are a lucky lady. I was wondering who was the customer that gave D the choice of the bag theme. :-) You made a great choice.

D~ Congrats on selling all your auction items. And to V too. Yeah. Hope your upcoming auctions are just as fruitful. I cannot wait to see the bags you make for your trip.

I love seeing all your DISmeet pictures. Hmmm, I am not sure who you might have missed in the group picture. I totally forgot that you got to meet Flora. I think that the MoA might have to be the next spot for a super DISmeet or we could plan one for Disney...

First of all.... your storm cellar looks scarier than the storm!

Your new bag is GREAT what a wonderful idea!

I'm do jealous of all your dis-meets! How fun they all look, I hold my first and only dis meet in a special part of my heart. I hope there will be more.

Bathing suit shopping is always scary and add a teen girl to the mix and it becomes really frightening!

Have a wonderful week! Ruth

probably wont tell you you can cut them because they sell them but you can and we do !

OK - so I purchased 2 of them yesterday. I was going to purchase them directly from their website, they were running a special 2/$19.99 - then I went to check out and they wanted to charge me $18.00 for shipping... Ah - no. So, off I went to Ebay... I paid $24 for 2 including shipping. Thanks for the tip Ruthie!

hmmm.... my EARS hang low. hehehehe

Froggs I bought a few of these the other day & plan to cut them 1/2 per Ruthie's instruction. I was amazed at how quickly they cool you off by just draping them over you neck like a towel. AMAZING! My older kids are a little freeked out by the texture of them. We are a weird family that way. But, I know come August in FL, they will all be fighting for them

Running low on time today, have to run!

I am a little nervous about the texture then... Both girls are very sensitive to texture - Alli especially. Hopefully they aren't awful - because she is the one that would need it most.

I am a little worried that these towels will get nasty after 10 days in the parks and no washing machines... :rolleyes1

I think you are totally onto something here with the concept I see a whole D-Series of Then & Nows BUT remember I am the one who said it so PLUTO would be M I N E !!!! great job great idea

Thanks Ruthie... Yah - I may have to do that series sometime - the bag turned out better than I imagined it would... The only issue I found is people really want "over the top bags", but as per my auction, they really don't want to pay the price (referring to the 2 appliques on the Incredibles bag)... So, I am not sure I will ever do any auctions as elaborate as this last one?

Well I figured your talented self already thought of it but I was the first to SAY it here anyway so can Pluto be mine

I didn't want to burst your bubble yesterday - but you weren't the first one to say it either... :rolleyes1 However - you were the first one to put it in writing - so I will give you credit for that part. :rotfl2:

Love that bag!! Love Mickey, love that it is like 2 bags, love the interior fabric! Soooo awesome!!!

Thank you!

OMGOSH OMGOSH OMGOSH I am totally in love and so happy that I gave you total creative control and did not have to figure out my own theme. TOTALLY HAPPY

Awesome Chiara! I am soooo happy that you like it! When you originally gave me free reign last fall - this was the exact bag I had in mind - so it's been really hard to save it for you, because I just wanted to make it then and there. So happy I waited! :woohoo:

Way to go Chiara awesome bag

:thumbsup2

Hi... Thank you ver much! :) Well - I do it full time. 8+ hours a day, usually 6 days a week. I hold all of my auctions on my Facebook Fanpage, however, it is against the rules on the Dis to post that information publically - and I think you need to have 10 post for me to PM you. :thumbsup2 You are more than welcome to send me a PM once you have enough posts to do so. :cheer2:

Congratulations Chiara, that is MY ALL TIME FAVORITE!!!

Love the then and now bag! I think a then and now series would be PERFECT!!!

LOL about the risque version... :rolleyes1

Hmmm... I did not know that about Poweraid - that is good info. No allergies here (thankfully). And no - I don't think I could be HOt and itchy at Disney - that would not go over well.

Welcome home Nini!

Love the new bag!! I love how it's a 2 in 1!!

Thanks Sandra!

Love this picture!!!!

Yah - I vote for a Disney Dismeet... I get to go to the MOA all the time. :rotfl2:

First of all.... your storm cellar looks scarier than the storm!

LOL - right? Hahaha... And notice how there are no steps to get down into it... or out of it. :rolleyes1

Your new bag is GREAT what a wonderful idea!

Thanks Ruth!

I know you do! I hope you'll have more too - they are so much fun!

Bathing suit shopping is always scary and add a teen girl to the mix and it becomes really frightening!

Have a wonderful week! Ruth

Ah - yah - I coulnd't agree more. LOL How are you feeling Ruth??? I've been wondering how you are doing.

**********************************************************

Yesterday was fun...

First off - I got to work on Alli's park bag all day! :woohoo: I have been dying to dig into this bag for months, and yesterday was no exception. About mid-way through my day, I came up with a brilliant idea :scratchin :rolleyes1 for her bag... So I had to drop what I was doing and detour to that. What I wanted to do turned out - however - I wish I would have done it in a different color... And now there is soooo much more I want to add. Rather than finishing this bag by tomorrow - I fear it will be several more days.

Now, as I told V last night - we need to come up with something just as awesome for her bag... :rolleyes1

Last night, we had all of our neighbors over for a fish fry... It was so much fun! We had a couple of extra neighbors here - so it was a good time. And the weather was beautiful - we were able to sit on the deck and relax all evening.

I took this photo of V and MM last night - this is soooo typical of MM... Thanks to Mo - we now call him Maxy Moose (said to the tune of "Marty Moose" from National Lampoon) - and it couldn't be more fitting.

6f7b71b8-21fe-461d-b5ff-9e0fe31f4e67.jpg

Today - well, it's back to work for me... I plan to work on Alli's applique all day... Then I plan to cut out the next TWO appliques for her bag... Yah - not sure what in the world I was thinking with all my bright ideas?

V goes back to Show Choir camp... so, I go back to driving... :scared:

Oh - and I will be headed to the PO this afternoon with a HUGE box of goodies to mail out.

**********************************************************

I do have more water bottle photos for you all... However, this is one picture I did't have on the computer from our 2008 trip, and I was too lazy to scan it - so it's a picture of a picture.

20130617_070933.jpg

I hope you all have a wonderful day today. Sending out prayers to all!

D~

I love the MM picture. We have never been to Ohana.

Good luck on your appliqués. I am working on launch sets today. Also hopefully Sami's July 4th onsie.

:thumbsup2

Well, since this seems to be my latest obsession, I don't think that will be a problem!:thumbsup2

D~ just wanted to tell you how much I love the "then and now" UPB! Chiara is one lucky lady!

I decided I need to make another bag to take into the parks since my red one will clash with some of my outfits. I think I need a purple, green and blue one!

I made a Pinocchio shirt to go with my Jiminy bag. I still need to take a picture and I am debating adding the Blue Fairy to it.

Charlie and I went to see Monsters University on Saturday - I like the first one better, but it was still a nice movie.

Kat update - the meds they gave her last week are working and the heart procedure will be done either today or tomorrow. Once she recovers from that, she will be moved to a rehab hospital, hopefully in Baltimore for intense pt, speech therapy and occupational therapy. We were waiting for an update from my nephew - he's been lax this week in keeping us informed - lol. Even his mother had to ask for an update!

Hope Alli's bathing suit saga has a good conclusion. I remember those days.

I'm so glad that both yours and V's auctions went well and you made more that you expected on them! I am so excited to get my Crush bag and Squirt wallet. I've been scouring the interenet looking for the perfect Finding Nemo shirt to go with it. Before long I'm going to need an extra suitcase just for my bags when I go to WDW. :rotfl:

I loved seeing the pictures from your DIS meets. Wow, that was a lot. I've done three and am happy with that many! I'm hoping to add some for my October trip once I figure out which week we are going to go.

I really thought about heading to WDW for a few days in August so I could participate in the Monsters University DIS meet. Even though I could probably swing it, there are some other circumstances that are not going to let it work. DH has had trouble most of his life with panic attacks and they have gotten out of control the last year or so. He's finally getting help but one of the things that causes them is me going out of town and leaving him alone. Figured it would be pretty selfish of me to add another trip this year.

I have to say that the Mickey now and then bag is one of my all time favorites. I agree with the other people that have said it should be a series. Maybe for your next big auction? I would of course love to see Pluto done that way!

I think you are totally onto something here with the concept I see a whole D-Series of Then & Nows BUT remember I am the one who said it so PLUTO would be M I N E !!!! great job great idea :thumbsup2

Now hold on there Ruthie! Fight you for it. ;) :rotfl:
