I managed to snag one of V's lanyards for my dh! I tried for 2 bags and a camera strap, but was outbid on all of them. I had to go to the bank over lunch and missed out on the closing seconds - LOL. I almost bid on the bug GAC - that is probably one of the cutest patterns I've seen, but I was already over my limit with the other things I was bidding on.

I am way too behind after being away for almost two weeks to ever catch up. But I did want to congratulate you on the auction and I'm loving the old pictures at DW.

Oh, I'm so happy for those who won a D~ original!! I can't wait to see the "surprise" custom you're finishing up. I'm sure we'll have to wait until it is received, but these things are always worth the wait.

I agree about the transportation thing. I wouldn't allow mine to take anyone in the car or play the radio. I'm sure they did play the radio anyway, but I didn't want them fiddling with it while trying to focus. I was never worried so much about my kids, but lets face it, there are some seriously demented people behind the wheel these days and defensive driving is something you do after a bit of experience. I am not a worrier by nature, but you can't help but be concerned at times. Someone ran a red light and t-boned the car my DD was driving and my other DD was her passenger. This crazy woman got out of the car and started screaming at my DD that she was the one who ran the red light and could have killed her kids that were in the car. My DD was rattled and then wasn't sure what had happened. Fortunately, two other motorist who saw it happen came to her defense and straightened that person out but fast. I was very sick with the flu and when DD called home, she never told me what had happened, just asked for Dan. He was at church and came upon the scene, so she had someone there with her. Horrible night! I wanted to go to that woman and point out that my DD didn't turn and start yelling at her for hitting them. She showed a lot of maturity that night. But having both DDs in one car, scary!

Congrats on the success of your auction. I know you were thinking one or more of the items might not appeal to people. Guess you found out differently! So, no more of that talk! If it's a D~ original, it's going to sell. Period. Reminds me of a story about someone trying to give kittens away and couldn't get any takers. Then they put a sign out that said "Amish kittens, $5" and sold every one of them. Around here, if it's Amish, it sells for some reason. Of course a D~ original is really worth fighting for.

I was bidding on a couple of GAC wallets I love the size and since i have to carry Js GAC I figure they should be what I want. I was originally bidding on SCRUMP for me but Miss C saw it last night and decided she wanted it.So I bid on it until I snagged it.

She is now ecstatic and she said it goes perfect with her Elvis Stitch messanger.

Cute pictures. It is obvious that Josh loves Disney. Maybe he just forgot he loves Disney. My DH is already saying that he will not be going to Disney in the future if they only let you get 3 fast passes. This is stressing me out so I am trying not to think about it. I need to save that Disney commercial with the teenage daughter and the dad riding the tea cups that says something about Disney being the only place "she will hang out with you". Might have to pull out the pictures of Casey and her daddy at the Rose Garden after she is all dolled up from BBB. I totally planned that photo-op for future bribing.

Congratulations on your auction. I know it was a real crunch to get all that sewing done and to make sure everything was unique and well made.

I am loving all the old pics you have been posting. They are so adorable...I'm just sorry I haven't been able to comment on each of them. As for the fanny pack/water bottle combo....UMMM....no words! I'll just sit back and wait for the next pic...

WOW WOW WOW!!! What more can I say about your recent bags and accessories? You do amazing work and should be very proud. There were several bags and other items i was dying to bid on in the auction. Money is a little tight right now (since we just got back from a short trip) but I will be keeping my eyes peeled on future auctions for sure. I almost bid on the Mike W. wallet/lanyard but I just couldn't bring myself to outbid Mo! There will be many more opportunities and I will be ready. Speaking of which...is there a regular auction in July?!?
