~ Aug 2013~ Sew what... We've gotta find a way back! Part I!!

I like those little cubbies. I think I've seen something similar in a craft room but can't remember whose.
I bet it wouldn't matter how many bags you could do you could sell them all! I am so excited about our GAC holders. I've always wanted something for them and these will be the perfect something for them
Poor Allie that sounds like a brutal day!

Awww... Thanks Callie. :) I am excited about your GAC holders, as well... I haven't actually drawn them out yet - but I do have a few ideas floating around in my head. :thumbsup2

Yah - Alli is exhausted... I've decided to let them both sleep all day if they want to.

I have seen lots of people post their sewing room pictures and you're right that many of them have the cubes to organize their fabrics. They look like a wonderful way to keep everything organized and easily able to see. Mine is just stacked in a closet in my sewing room. The closet is nice because it has shelves but some of the fabric gets "lost" in the piles and I forget that I have it. I move the fabric to a basket on my bookshelf when I have a project planned and am almost ready to use it. Right now my project basket is overflowing and I need to get busy!

I wish I had a closet to organize everything - I would love to be able to close the door and not look at the mess. :rotfl2:

And - yes, it sounds like you better get busy in that sewing room of yours... LOL - I honestly think you accomplish so much - I don't know how you do it?

I have seen the ribbon rack before. I looked at it (or something very similar) at Michaels where they have their organizational stuff. I really liked it and thought about buying it but I didn't have a coupon. Of course I couldn't buy it without a coupon!

That's an excellent idea - I never even thought to look there - all this time I've been patiently waiting for Josh to make me one... Hmmm... I have a whole book of coupons that start tomorrow!

Hmm, I wonder what you could do with your rolls of Heat and Bond???? It would be nice if they made something like the ribbon rack for those. Of course they wouldn't look so pretty though.

I am just thinking some sort of large vase, I usually only buy one roll of each at a time... So, I only have the roll of H&B and then the roll of the tear away stabilizer that I would keep in there. Honestly - I would love to find a large vintage vase on Etsy.

Good luck getting all your errands done. It sounds like you have a lot of running around to do the next couple of days. And I have absolutely no advice about how to make a pattern. That is way out of my comfort zone.

LOL But you can tell me which ones you like to read the best. :)

Yes, I think I am officially saving my errands for tomorrow, since that is when the new Joann's flyer starts.

My girls just left for school so my house is nice and quiet right now. I hope you don't have any trouble getting your girls up and moving.

They did get up pretty good yesterday... I am really loving these quiet house days!

My ribbon is similar and it isn't really working either. But I will say I don't think I would like it much better on a shelf besides it looking nicer because I like to take the spool off when cutting and still have to take others off to get to the one I want.

See, and I am hoping to leave it on, because as it is, I have to take it off the dowel rod - then I have to put all the rolls back on - most of the time, I am reaching around my hot iron to accomplish this. :confused3

I swear by Ikea shelves. I have several throughout my house. I use the 5 x 5 as a room separator in the basement.

This is good. I love that 5x5 so much... I had enough room in my sewing room before Josh added the additional counter top by Patience - but to be honest, I really like it that way, so I am glad he did it. I will have to settle with the 4x4.

I am a little tempted to put a few of these cubes under my counter top though, for additional storage - some day. I'll be lucky if I get any of this stuff in the next year.

Or one of these - they can be placed horizontally or vertically:

expedit-shelving-unit__0092712_PE229410_S4.JPG

I also need to get rid of the PO flat rate boxes I ordered from the PO - I thought they would work for me, but they don't. I keep forgetting to ask my PO lady if I can bring them back to the PO... Hmmm... I should send her a message on FB - thanks for the reminder. :thumbsup2

Our reservation at 50's was for 11 too. I wondered if because our lunch time was so early that affected the mood. The restaurant wasn't full, we were the only ones sitting in our section and I wondered if that affected the the mood of the waitress etc.. It shouldntn and I have yet to write my complaint letter, but I will.

Possibly - that is a reasonable assumption. Hmmm... But I just don't like doing later times, because it seems the earlier you get in, the quicker you get out, because you don't have to wait for all the people in front of you to order/get their food/eat/visit...

I hsve he biggest I,ea expedit inthe craft room for scrap booking supplies. The thing is massive. We see a lot on kijiji around here which is our version of Craigslist. I got my shelves used for $60 and they look brand new. To buy new would have been over $250.

Hmm.... I never even thought to look on Craigslist for one. :thumbsup2 That is a spectaculer idea!

Cheryl! You are awesome. Well, you already know that, so I'm not telling you something new. So glad I can pop over to your new place when I go to visit D~ . . .

And - I LOVE your UPB! I might have to make a few of those

I know - she is just ingenious!

I hope Josh is ready for all the boys that are going to be knocking on your door this year, D! Can Alli come do MY hair & makeup?

LOL - yah I just want to sit in a corner, plug my ears and sing "la, la, la, laaaa" - rather than face the fact that my girls are growing up.

I am sure Alli would be more than happy to do your hair/make-up when you come to visit. :) She has been making V be her "Barbie doll" all summer, so she has gotten pretty good at doing V up. :clown:

Now . . .I need to know your potential trip dates again . . . I'm waiting on an email from MIL but there's a chance we could be there for a couple of days together . . .

Potentially... March 2-9... WHOOT - we'll overlap for one day!!! Super excited!!! I haven't told the girls yet. :scratchin

MA and I chatted on FB yesterday, and we've decided to do a meal together on Saturday night... We chose to meet up at CM. I already have an ADR there that I need to cancel, but I am wondering if I should change it to an ADR for 4 - that way if the girls and I can't make the trip, MA and her family can just take it over for us? Hmmm... I will have to brainstorm that with her.

France, well, it's a can't miss for us

I've had:
Les Tartes des Chefs - Original flatbreads from the brick oven
A la Flame Alsacienne - Alsace specialty. Flatbread baked with creme fraiche, onion and bacon

AND

Plat de Cote de Boeuf au Cabarnet avec pates - Beef short ribs braised in Cabernet with pasta, pearl onions and mushrooms

and a couple of other things, but I can't remember what they were. Both of the above were delicious!

Hmmm... They all sound delicious!

I hate not knowing IF we get to go on this trip we're dreaming about IF we can get a dining plan or not. It sounds like we can from what I've read, but I'm not sure. . . and it would totally affect our eating habits - if we CAN, we'd eat in the parks at least one TS a day probably. . . if we CAN'T, well, we have three ADRs with the Greenawalts and that would probably be our only dining in the parks and we'd eat in the room instead. . .

I know - I feel the same way. Realistically, I need to stop dreaming about organizing my sewing room, and concentrate on this trip - because right now, I can't do both. :( And I can't do the trip at all if there is no FD anounced for our dates - there is just no way we can afford to pay 4k for a vacation - that is just way out of our budget. Our trip this last March - with all my discounts (FD, -10% - 5%) had 10 full days at a Mod cost us $1850 - total (not including airfare and souvies) - which is a fantastic deal! IMO.

I know that I have my paycheck at the end of the year from the City - and that would potentially cover about 1/3 of this trip (Provided it is approx the same price as last year)... I have my bags that really would cover the other portion - considering how far out I am booked. And I have a fun idea about how I can earn the $$ for airfare... So, theoretically - this trip could work for us - I just need to buckle down and start saving - and sometimes that is just so hard to do - even though we want to go so badly.

:goodvibes SO pretty

Awww... Thank you Michelle! I love it too! I went up to start working yesterday, and I just sat there for a few minutes admiring it... It was something that I really needed to do.

I am all caught up and it seems the girls are still adjusting to school. My kids have been back for a month and I am still trying to get back into a routine. I am sure that high school is a big adjustment for Alli.

I know - it seems to take us a long time to get adjusted every year too. It's so hard for us, because the girls are always the first ones on the bus and the last ones off - since we live so far out - so, they have to be up and moving by 5:30am every day... They don't get home until 4pm... In the dead of winter, it is almost dark by then. It's very hard on them and us - because their only "free time" is on the bus - and that doesn't really count.

High school has been a big adjustment for Alli... I think she is getting it figured out though. She went into school yesterday to some bad news... A girl from one of the upper grades was killed in a head on collision - we didn't know her at all - but the collision happened on a dirt road near us. She was on her way to a friend's house with a few friends in the car - she approached a crest on the top of a hill and had a head on collision with another car - the driver happened to be the friend she was going to see. Just very sad. Rumor has it that one of them crossed the center line - but if you've ever driven on a dirt road, you always drive a little more towards center, other wise the gravel sucks you into the ditch - it's only when you are approacting another car that you temporarily move over. The way the visibility of this road was - she would have been able to see the dust cloud from the oncoming car - even if she wouldn't have been able to see the car itself. It's so very sad. It's also one of those things that scare me immensely for when my girls start to drive - things like this happen so often. :(

Your sewing room looks great. Love the shelves and the colorful thread. I spent the last few days sorting and folding most of my fabrics. Now I just need to sew something! I really have too much fabric and think I need to sell some stuff to justify all my fabric purchases. Maybe Cheryl will license her park bag pattern to me and I can setup a shop on etsy.

Thanks Liz! :goodvibes LOL about selling to justify... I think it's a great idea to start making Cheryl's UPB! :cool1:

The Boo bag is amazing. Can't wait to see your next creation.

Awww.... Thanks! I just got a message from the customer that she received it and loves it! :lovestruc YAY!!! I always worry so much - I wish I wouldn't, but I do. :worship:

Well, I finished my next bag yesterday - it turned out great! I also finally figured out what to do for the wallet and zipper pull. :woohoo: I plan to head up to my sewing room shortly to start appliqueing - I hope to finish everything today and post pictures this afternoon. I also hope so start cutting my next bag - and maybe begin quilting it. I plan to take tomorrow off completely so I can get all of my errands done.

I also have an idea about how I am going to make some extra $$ to pay for the airfare for this trip... I don't want to go into too much detail yet, because I don't want to promise anything... It's totally time permitting. But now that Josh has different hours at work - I find it easier to stay in my sewing room all day - like I am supposed to. :worship: So, I am pretty confident that I can accomplish this task.

Last night, Alli came home from school wanting to go to a football game... So, we decided to go to town and have dinner... Then Josh dropped V and I at the movie theatre, dropped Alli off at the game, then came back to the theatre to watch the movie with us. We saw The Odd Life of Timothy Green... it was an excellent family film - expensive - I hate going to movies because they cost soooooo much, but we had a good time and it's something we rarely do. We all finished at roughly the same time. It worked out well. It's so nice that Josh has these new hours, because we can finally do stuff as a family in the evenings, because he doesn't have to be in bed so early. :lovestruc

Anyways... I better go book my next ADR... We are in AK this day - and I still have no idea what to do? I think we might be lame and do anothe TH breakfast - although - I am seriously considering an early lunch ADR at Y&Y, we have never eaten there before. :confused3

I hope everyone has a wonderful day - and you can all watch for pictures of my next bag to be posted sometime this afternoon. :thumbsup2

I really need to go see this movie! Parts of it were filmed here in town...at least the part at the old mill. I have no idea how it was used...

We have had several movies filmed around us... some pretty good things, some not so great. I think it is a hoot that one old lady at church had never heard of one of the movies that was being filmed here...The latest American Pie movie.. she kept raving on and on about it on face book. When it came out and she saw it...well, she was totally embarrassed that SHE had promoted such a movie!

(of course, THAT movie was a PAIN! The CITY got paid for their inconvenience...but not the people that had to go into town to places like the Post Office! The roads all around the PO were closed...the actual STREET it was on was opened, but you still couldn't get to it...no even walking!)

They are getting ready to film Catching Fire here in the next week or so...I 'almost' sent the kids over to be extras...but they wanted slim kids...and Mr D could never be called slim!

Nini

OK...

So a few things have come up over the last day or so that really affect some details on our trip.

First of all... The fact that Marianne and her family will be there. We didn't know for sure when we were going to fly out - I was going to let airfare prices decide, but since MA will only be there until Sunday - we have to fly in on Saturday... I can't take the girls out of school any earlier than that - so Saturday is the official day.

Second of all... We'd like to do a longer trip again. We liked the 10 days, but this time, we will take 2 days off with in our trip - instead of one.

If we do the 10 days - our trip will look like this:

Sat: dinner with MA then to MK
Sun: EP
Mon: off
Tues: DHS
Wed: MK
Thurs: AK
Fri: MK
Sat: off
Sun: EP (or a water park)
Mon:AK
Tues: Fly home

If we only do 7 days - our trip will look like this:

Sat: dinner with MA then to MK
Sun: Ep
Mon: AK
Tues: DHS
Wed: MK
Thurs:AK
Fri: MK
Sat: Fly home

We won't have any days off with this scenerio
Once we hit Friday - The crowd calendar jumps significantly and we hit Spring Break crowds.

I have been struggling with our ADRs for our AK day (that I had to make this morning) for a while now. This day does not change for us no matter how many days we are there. I came up with another idea this morning, as I made our 2nd TH breakfast ADR... I decided to also make a lunch ADR at Y&Y, so we could take a few more days to decide. While I was at it - there was a restaurant I wanted to try on our last trip that we didn't get a chance to, and that was Whispering Canyon... So, I made that ADR for dinner. I am going to talk to V when she wakes up - but I have a feeling that we will end up keeping the WC adr. However - depending on how long our trip is - we might keep the TH one too, because we might have one day with an extra TS meal to use? I know - rambling...

Also, if we stay 10 days, our TH Adr at AK on Mon the 4th will have to be cancelled, because we won't be in a park that day. So, I would maybe just keep the TH adr on Thurs 7th, and maybe move the WC adr to Monday the 11th? Not sure yet... We definately don't want to do DH on the 11th, because that happens to be AM EMH, and we won't want to miss out on utilizing that, unless we do a later breakfast.

OK - so I am hoarding 3 ADRs for this day... But I am pretty sure I will drop Y&Y as soon as V wakes.

Is everyone thoroughly confused now?

Now, I need to research how much $$ a day in the water park would cost us, if that's what we truly want to do? If we decide to do that... That would be another TS meal avail to us at another time in the trip, since we wouldn't do a TS meal in the park that day.

So, if I add the water park tickets on to our base tickets - it would cost us 171. If I just flat out purchased one day for each of us, that would cost us 156, a difference of $15. Potentially, we could use one of our days off to sneak into the water park for just a couple of hours? And we could utilize 2 days of this pass?

Any thoughts on the above? :crazy2:

We have never been to any water park - ever. It is something my girls have always wanted to do, but I have never justified the price. This would have to be an add on at the last minute, if we get it, just because I would want everything else paid for before I decided if this is something we could afford.

If we decide not to do a WP, that leaves another park day for us... Which would either be DHS or EP... Either one is a crappy park to visit that day. LOL So, I guess it would come down to what we want to do... Honestly - I think we enjoy DHS more than EP, and considering our last DHS day was crummy because of Alli being sick - I am leaning towards DHS.

Which brings me to the next hurdle - where to eat here? Honestly - if we have a second full day here, I think we will try Sci-Fi, we've never been there and I think the girls would enjoy the atmosphere. We would also, most definately do F!.

So, is everyone totally and utterly confused yet? :scared:

Alot of this will depend on FD... If we don't get it - we most likely won't go at all, if we do - it will be PB&Js & CS the entire trip. :crazy2:

If we can get FD - we will try for 10 days again.

Can someone remind me... You only have to check in on a day that FD is offered, and you qualify for it for the remainder of the trip, correct?

OK - I am done rambling now, must get to work.

D~

That's a great idea to check out on Craigslist. I'm always on there just looking. LOL!

I wish I had a closet to organize everything - I would love to be able to close the door and not look at the mess. :rotfl2:

That's an excellent idea - I never even thought to look there - all this time I've been patiently waiting for Josh to make me one... Hmmm... I have a whole book of coupons that start tomorrow!

Honestly - I would love to find a large vintage vase on Etsy.

High school has been a big adjustment for Alli... I think she is getting it figured out though. She went into school yesterday to some bad news... A girl from one of the upper grades was killed in a head on collision - we didn't know her at all - but the collision happened on a dirt road near us.
D~
The closet would be great if I ever shut the doors on it. I always leave them open though because I have my shoe storage thingy on there with the serger threads. I guess I could hang that so it is on the outside.

I was just looking at the ads in our newspaper. Michaels has all their organizational stuff on sale starting tomorrow for 50% off. I might go in and take a look at the ribbon rack again. The idea of the vintage vase for your heat and bond is nice. Depending on what it is made out of, shipping could be killer though.

It is always hard on the kids when something bad happens to someone at school. Sorry that something so terrible happened. We don't have any dirt roads around here so I rarely have driven on them but I do know that there is always a big dust cloud around your car when you're on them.

prayers for the families of the kids involved in the accident...hopefully the county will do something so that won't happen again!

good luck with all your planning..hope you can get the extra days for your trip!

Cheryl I love you :rotfl2: You make me laugh. I have tears running down my face.

Thanks for the subtle reminder - gotta get some pills for watery eyes to add to my Uber Perfect Pill Baggie.

:rotfl2: Thanks, I needed a good laugh, but I have to ask what happened to Friday and Saturday?:confused3

Maybe you're not familiar with HIPAA regulations, but I'm not able to discuss what arrangements are made for weekends.

O-M-G!!! Cheryl... I also have tears streaming down my face!

And FYI... The house smak-dab next door is a rental... I'll be watching for your moving van, because as long as you have your UPPB stocked - I am more than happy to have you for a neighbor.

D~

:drive: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

You are the only person I know that can sew on plastic bags and make it so CHIC:rolleyes1

Stop, you're making me blush.

I guess you better stay indoors on the weekends since your new neighbor will be off her meds then.

I kinda thought on weekends we'd have potluck :stir: suppers and go to the :boat: lake maybe even occasionally movies popcorn:: under the stars.

:worship::worship::worship:
WOWIE! Are you going to create a pattern for that? Can we pick what color pills we'd like if we order from your etsy shop?

Well, I don't want to have to run into town for every single order, but I'll be as flexible as possible.

Before there was the UPB ---> Ultimate Pill Bag Cheryl was very good at making doll clothes:thumbsup2

Who can forget this OOAK :rotfl2:

:teacher: Excuse me. It's Uber Perfect Pill Baggie. I DO NOT want to be confused with anyone else on the disboards or etsy or facebook who is selling something with even a mildly similar name. UPPB!

Cheryl-why is everyone laughing? I think your UPPB is ingenious! I think they might be jealous of your cleverness!

BINGO!!! ::yes::

Thanks Cheryl... I have no idea how I do it sometimes either? I just put the stuff under my machine foot and away I go.

Maybe I'll try the "put stuff under my machine foot" method. :scratchin

Just checking -- is it the foot pedal or the presser foot? :confused3

I promise - this is the last place I will post these pictures today - for you poor souls who had to see them in various places on FB. :faint:

I am just super excited to have something on my walls in my sewing room! And Josh was so nice to buy them for me, and put them up!

You'll see some of my favorite treasures from some great friends... And not to worry if you don't see your gift up there- I have lots more and plans for those too. :thumbsup2

D~

The shelves are great. I had wanted floating shelves in our living room but we finally decided it was easier to change pictures around that to install shelves.

HOWEVER, my husband saw Josh's shelves, and since he's the competitve sort he offered to put some up in my sewing quadrant. Silly me, as I was cleaning up my space I must have misplaced your address. If I'm to move next to you you'll have to PM me your address again. Sorry to be such a pain.

Cheryl! You are awesome. Well, you already know that, so I'm not telling you something new. So glad I can pop over to your new place when I go to visit D~ . . .

And - I LOVE your UPB! I might have to make a few of those

:wave2: Can't wait to meet you over the fence.

Fair warning -- the UPPBs aren't as easy as they look to make. I'm not saying don't attempt it, but keep your seam ripper and adult beverage nearby. :drinking1

This was a really fun bag to make (all my bags are fun to make! :rotfl2:)

I was a bit unsure of the colors, but now that it's finished, I really like it.

Love, Love, LOVE!

(especially the part where you didn't blur out your shop's name)

I am so jealous of you and your amazing ability to hand applique.

Nini

ACK!!! Thanks Nini! I've removed that photo.

D~so sad to hear about the girls at Alli's school. I hate driving on dirt road and I always try to drive on the shoulder around turns and over hills but then I worry about people walking or biking on the road. I just go really slow, which always seems to bother the people behind me.

I absolutely love your new bag. Mickey's expression is perfect and the broom on the back is a nice addition. I love Mickey's hand on the wallet and your stitches look really nice in the contrasting thread color.

Your plans for your trip sound good. It has always been the case where your check in date has to fall in the window for the free dining and it will carry over for the entire length of your stay (as long as you don't change resorts). Adding the water parks after you arrive might be your best bet - that way you are not counting on the weather to cooperate. I think you can also go to Disney Quest at DTD if you add the water parks.

Sorcerer Mickey UPB=
What a great bag! Can't wait to see it 'up close and personal'. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Love, Love, LOVE!

Nini

I agree. I wish I could hand applique.

This bag is totally awesome. I love love love it.

Delegation is a great thing! :) Alli is actually just starting high school - 9th grade... Yes, she looks so much older than she is. :rolleyes1

How the heck did I mess that one up!! Must be lack of sleep and mixing her up with my niece who is going into her Senior year this year!! Glad Alli had a great start to High School!!!

Today is V's first day of 8th grade... Alli did her hair and make-up this morning, she looks very cute!

Such cute pictures. Both of your girls are very pretty!!

And just for fun - yesterday my thread order finally came from LCM... Love that place - but I seriously could have driven there and back faster... These were the spools I added to my "collection".

And then all of them together - I just love all the colors together - they look so pretty. Looking at this picture - I am potentially short on reds and oranges.

I was also able to snag my 3rd ADR this morning... Tusker House for breakfast - before the park opens. :cool1: Loved walking through AK with out any crowds.

Tomorrow I need to make an ADR for DHS... I am really struggling with this one - do we try again for 50's after our experience with Elaine? Or do we go somewhere different? If so, where do we go? I would love some input! :)

Well - I must go, I have to drive Victoria in to school today, since we couldn't get her stuff into her locker - I am hoping they will let her to her locker for a few minutes to put her stuff inside before all the kids pack the hallways.

Then I am coming home to hang out in my sewing room all day.

Have a fantastic day everyone!

D~

Now which colors will be on my bag?

This was a really fun bag to make (all my bags are fun to make! :rotfl2:)

I was a bit unsure of the colors, but now that it's finished, I really like it.

Very, Very nice bag!!! I was actually torn between Mickey and the one I decided on!! Love it!

Love your new bag!!,love all your bags! Been working on my WDW plans. It looks like we will be in the same park on Wed the 6 and Fri 8th. Both times in MK ! Maybe we can plan at least a counter service? I'm going to try to do ADR 's today. A little late but "stuff"got in the way. Your plans sound great! Ruth

I looked at Michaels online yesterday, and I coudln't find any organizational stuff... I will be at JoAnn's today though- so I am going to look there.

I know - I just get so paranoid about things like this happening. I trust my girls just fine - I do not trust other people. :(

prayers for the families of the kids involved in the accident...hopefully the county will do something so that won't happen again!

good luck with all your planning..hope you can get the extra days for your trip!

Thank you Lisa. :lovestruc

Thanks for the subtle reminder - gotta get some pills for watery eyes to add to my Uber Perfect Pill Baggie.

Maybe you're not familiar with HIPAA regulations, but I'm not able to discuss what arrangements are made for weekends.

Stop, you're making me blush.

I kinda thought on weekends we'd have potluck :stir: suppers and go to the lake maybe even occasionally movies under the stars.

Well, I don't want to have to run into town for every single order, but I'll be as flexible as possible.
Excuse me. It's Uber Perfect Pill Baggie. I DO NOT want to be confused with anyone else on the disboards or etsy or facebook who is selling something with even a mildly similar name. UPPB!
Maybe I'll try the "put stuff under my machine foot" method.

Just checking -- is it the foot pedal or the presser foot?

The shelves are great. I had wanted floating shelves in our living room but we finally decided it was easier to change pictures around that to install shelves.

HOWEVER, my husband saw Josh's shelves, and since he's the competitve sort he offered to put some up in my sewing quadrant. Silly me, as I was cleaning up my space I must have misplaced your address. If I'm to move next to you you'll have to PM me your address again. Sorry to be such a pain.

Can't wait to meet you over the fence.

Fair warning -- the UPPBs aren't as easy as they look to make. I'm not saying don't attempt it, but keep your seam ripper and adult beverage nearby.

LOL Cheryl... Oh and that would be the presser foot. :thumbsup2

Lookin' forward to my new neighbors!

Love, Love, LOVE!

(especially the part where you didn't blur out your shop's name)

I am so jealous of you and your amazing ability to hand applique.

Nini

Thanks for the subtle FYI yesterday Nini! You may have saved me! :)

Oh it is sew cute!

Thanks!

Thank you Liz.

I know - it is just a very difficult and sad situation.

Thanks for the info on the dining plan... I am pretty sure that's how it was for our trip last year, but I couldn't remember for sure. :thumbsup2

Hmmm.... INteresting about DQ too!

Sorcerer Mickey UPB=
What a great bag! Can't wait to see it 'up close and personal'. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

So glad you like it Di! :thumbsup2

I agree. I wish I could hand applique.

This bag is totally awesome. I love love love it.

Thanks Chiara!!! There is definately a learning curve to hand applique - a nd I am still learning, however, I love how it is limitless... I can do anything in any size. :lovestruc

Another amazing bag!! I cant wait for mine! :thumbsup2

Thanks! :lovestruc

Another awesome, amazing bag! I love it!

Thanks Diane! :lovestruc

Love it, love it love it!

Thanks Erin!

How the heck did I mess that one up!! Must be lack of sleep and mixing her up with my niece who is going into her Senior year this year!! Glad Alli had a great start to High School!!!

Such cute pictures. Both of your girls are very pretty!!

Thank you!

Now which colors will be on my bag?

Probably most of them. LOL

Very, Very nice bag!!! I was actually torn between Mickey and the one I decided on!! Love it!

Thank you!

Ruth

Thanks Ruth! Sounds good... We are also in the same resort for almost the entire time we are there - we could even meet up there if it works out. We'll exchange #s when it gets closer. :lovestruc I hope you're doing well - been thinking lots about you. :flower3:

I sewed most of the day yesterday, and obviously finished my bag set. :cool1:

Which means, today I have the day off. :cool1: Totally - no guilt!

And guess what I am doing with my day? Um yah - grocery shopping... A trip to Joann's... The girls want to go to the mall... Sigh.

I did manage to make my ADR for Liberty Tree Tavern... I think I have told you that this is one of our favorite restaurants in MK - Right? BOG hasn't even hit our radar - although, we might try it for CS one day. :confused3

That's all - nothing new or exciting here. :crazy2:

I hope you all have a magnificant day!

D~
