D I have a photo of us at Judys....will get it emailed to every hopefully next week! have a great week at the lake!
Awesome!! I knew someone took a picture of all of us - I just couldn't remember who!
A few days at the lake sounds like fun. Can't wait to see your vision of Josh's idea for the wallet.
I have NO pictures from the weekend since I was hoping to be able to download everyone's pictures. Glad to see Mr. R likes the thread from LCM.
That is a bummer Liz - well - if I would have just left my phone in your van, you would have had lots of pictures.
I know - I was super thrilled that Mr. R likes that thread. So much so, that I've already placed an order for more.

When I got home - I compared what I purchased to what I have for colors, and I was missing about 8 colors that I like to keep on hand, it was a great deal - and I plan to order all of my thread through them from now on! Now I need to try out their actual sewing thread, because I would be thrilled to not have to pay $6+ for a spool, and still have the great quality.
Beautiful!!!! you can create for a very long time and never duplicate a bag!!
Thank you - I hope so Ruth! I am so happy that your dd loved her bag! That was an awesome picture you posted on my wall!
D I just love the newest bag.
So cute.
Thank you Chiara!

Only one more day for you... I hope you have a marvelous trip!
I love the balloon bag! And how clever (and helpful) of Josh to figure out the wallet applique!
I hope that you are able to get a lot done on the bag before you leave that way you can just enjoy your time at the lake house.
Sunshine
Thanks! Josh does come up with some great ideas for me - I loved how simply original that one was - yet it said what I wanted it to.
I did make good progress on my next bag last night.

And I came up with a brilliant idea for it - now it will have to sit in my brain for 4 days, because realisitcally - there is no way I could bring a machine to the lake. As it is, we are taking the Edge to save on gas - and we will be

the new bag!!
I can't pick my favorite one, they keep getting better and better!!!

Awww... Thank you! It was so great meeting you the other day!
Love it! That's the exact fabric
I love the hand holding them for the wallet...way to go Josh! And I gotta tell you, I think my favorite part is the fun red Mickey print inside for the pockets. It is just great D~ I cant wait.
Oh, and I didn't tell you....Bradey is starting Kindergarten this coming Wednesday
....but when we went backpack shopping he asked me "Mommy, can I have your Dory backpack? You said you didn't want me to have the same one as everyone else.....ummm...I don't think I have ever seen another Dory backpack."
He was so cute! Right about then we turned the corner and found the camo backpacks though, so all thoughts of Dory went out the window....but it was a cute moment anyway. And now that I know he likes my Squishy bag, I don't feel so bad about scratching his PPP and getting this one
Awesome Suzi - I am so glad you like it!

And I am glad I was able to create what you visualized, I always worry that I won't be able to do that - so far, I've been lucky.
LOL about Bradey's backpack... That is such a cute story! You can always add a PPP later...

I am glad that Bradey likes his new camo backpack. I remember the day when my girls started Kindergarten... It seems just like yesterday - so sad how time flies.
Love the new bag, so cheery and colorful!!!
Thank you!
Love the bag. And I adore the Mickey glove on the wallet. Sooo cute! Have fun at the lake.
Thank you!! Yah - I love how that turned out too.
cute! the balloons and Mickey's hand are a great choice!!
Thanks Lisa... I told Josh last night that everyone loved his idea - he was quite proud of himself.
Another fun bag!!
Enjoy your time at the lake. Well as much as you anyways if your bringing your machine with you. If mine needs to slip by a couple weeks to get other's done don't feel bad. I don't need it until Christmas.
Thanks Sandra and thanks for the offer... but if I push you back, then you'd have to wait until my next opening at the end of April. LOL And I doubt you'd want that. I will be totally fine, I've got it all worked out!
I had a crazy day in my sewing room yesterday - I got so much accomplished! I finished the balloon bag and wallet - which was great! Then I took a short mid-afternoon break. And back into my sewing room for the rest of the day. I've managed to cut out my next bag and get a good portion of the quilting done. I will admit - I am doing a different pattern of quilting on the front, and it was super quick and easy - so that's part of the reason I was able to get so far. I hope to get started on my applique today - if I can do that, I won't have any anxiety about leaving for the lake tomorrow, since I will still have a few days to finish when I get home.
Victoria and MM spent a good portion of yesterday organizing my fabric stash... That was so very sweet of her - I keep meaning to do that, but I can never just find the time. I'd really love to take a day soon, and work on some projects for my sewing room - ahem, my corkboard that I keep wanting to put up to display all my cards... And the picture that Beth gave me in Charlotte... And get some shelves to display all of my thread cones... Ok - maybe 2 days...
We got a notice yesterday, something went wrong with the well at the water tower... The Dept. of Health was here, and they notified residents that we need to boil our water until, at least, Thursday. Grrr... Thankfully we are leaving for the lake tomorrow - but it's still annoying.
I have to run to town this morning to get groceries for the lake. Thankfully, my MIL and Josh talked yesterday - so we know what we don't need to bring.
And then, I got something wonderful in the mail yesterday. I have made so many great friends here on the Dis, and I am just so thankful for each and every one of them! Suzi sent me a message last week - saying she picked up a little something for me on her recent trip to WDW...

Then, yesterday a little box showed up... I was confused for a minute until I remembered our conversation... So I opened it to find the most amazing card - it was just so very nice! I can't wait to hang it on my corkboard some day! And then she picked out a Pick-a-pearl for me! I couldn't believe it! And she had it put in my favorite setting of all time!! It is just fantastic, and I cannot wait to wear it!
And I just had to take a picture of the box - because I love that too!
So, thank you so much Suzi! That was such a wonderful surprise!
I hope everyone has a fantastic day today!
