I'm guilty of not checking in for a while.
It has been crazy busy around here - story of my life lately it seems. I'm pretty sure I went back and read everything since the last time I was here.
I love the duck butt bag and I am sure that the girl you made it for will be thrilled with it. It is such a fun bag and so unique!
I also loved seeing your first creations again. They truly are amazing.
Glad to hear that Allie's ankle is getting better and she started back with her track & field practices. Hoping she takes it easy though so it can heal fully.
Nice that Josh was able to fix his truck finally. Sounds like something my DH would do. He has become a lot more mechanically inclined since we first met. I remember him being embarrassed because I used to change the oil in my car myself (part of having a mechanic for a dad!) and he didn't have a clue. Of course, with having the race car, he has had to learn how to take care of almost everything and we quite often work together on it in the evenings. His hands are just too big to get the injectors out to clean them, so I still do that. But he does just about everything else (minus rebuilding the engine!).

OMG! I felt so bad for you guys when I heard that you had snow. We have been really lucky and had 8 days of 20+ deg C (I believe that is about 68 deg F) weather. Of course, that was after about a week of wet, cold, rainy weather, so we will take it. Our yard went from a sloppy brown mess to green grass in two days! Hope you get better weather to help dry up your yard.

We can't coupon like you can in the States, however, I was happy that I was able to save $7.00 on my grocery bill this week with manufacturers' coupons that had come in our flyers. Every little bit counts! So, yesterday morning, I couponed. I also sorted through my binder and threw away all of the expired or nearly expired coupons that I knew I wouldn't use. I started my grocery list for this week, which is very sparse... I will have to ask for imput from the family, because there isn't anything on it hardly at all. But it was nice to get my binder cleaned out.

I can't wait for this auction to be able to see all the bags, sets and accessories! Then I went up to my sewing room... Since I am still waiting on that fabric order, and I probably will be for many days - I started on some other accessory projects for the auction. I made a few lanyards, and I also made a BOY themed GAC set... I hope to work on a girls version as well. I really dislike coming up with ideas for the GACs, because the surface is so small, that I can't justify putting a detailed applique on them, so I have to come up with something simple and easy - otherwise it just prices them right out of the market... Wallets are much the same way. As much as I would LOVE to do detailed appliques, that would put the wallets themselves at a starting bid of $50 minimum, and I just don't think they are worth that. So, I try very hard to stick to the simple appliques.

I thought I would leave you all with another view from our deck last night... Such a difference from a few days ago. I kept saying that I was shocked at how quick it melted.
To refresh your memory... This was on Thursday:

And this was last night... a mere 3 days later:

Our yard is a mud hole...Everyone else's lawn around us is all nice, and our lawn died over the winter... and our trees barely have buds on them yet - usually we have full tress by now... but, I am just happy that the snow is gone.
