This is offered in two places on the Western - Grand Cayman and Cozumel. (G11 and CZ20) Has anyone done them? Are they worth it? Which would be better? Obviously, you'll see different things on each, but I don't think I'd want to do it twice, so it's about picking the one that will be better, I guess.

I've only done the tourist submarine in Hawaii; even as a US Navy Submarine Officer it was cool to look out of something other than a periscope. (And when you look out the scope while submerged, you DON'T want to see anything as you are coming to periscope depth!)
My recommendation would be the Cozumel trip, purely from the bottom contour of the ocean around there. Grand Cayman has the water depth get extremely deep very quickly, so you only have a narrow band of sea bottom within range of the tourist submarine. Cozumel has a flatter bottom contour and opens up more reef area to see.

Which did you like better?
As @Rob1872 said, Cozumel started with a long boat ride to the sub because the bottom of the Caribbean has a gentle slope. GC the sub was much closer and a shorter boat ride. Did Coz first then GC. I liked GC because of the greater changes in depth and marine life. More wrecks at GC. The photo was GC, you can see the land in the background.

How is the boat ride and submarine ride for people who may be seasick?
The submarine ride is pretty smooth once under the water because there was no wave action. The boat ride is relatively short to and from the sub but depending on the sea conditions at that moment it can be bouncy.

We enjoyed it at the Grand Cayman. Never been to Cozumel though.
