I have read the Shopaholic series of books over and over - the first one in the series could have been written about me, I could identify with it so much

Blue/white and lilac/white in the en-suite, red and pink in the kids' bathroom and white in the downstairs loo

Yep, I collect Cherished Teddies - I have about 50.

Got to be REO Speedwagon's Greatest Hits - I can listen to it over and over. It's best listened to in a dark room, with a drink in your hand and really loud

Pretty much anything except lager and milk

Surprisingly, no - I'm very well paid for what little I do at the moment.

No, I'm afraid I'm definitely more of a doom and gloom person than an upbeat, good-vibe-giving one. I like to think I don't bring others down with my manic-depressive behaviour though

I would love for Disney to have a big castle-like hotel, with four poster beds swathed in white muslin, thick fluffy carpets and ultimate luxury.

I have but I have not paid the extra to be able to contact people. I keep getting the odd message but until someone I really liked at school contacts me (like my Maths teacher maybe ) I won't be parting with that £7.50 anytime soon.

Along with my wedding ring, it's my hot diamonds necklace that DH bought me for our wedding

You're only as old as you feel - I like to think I'll never be 'too old'

My DH is not romantic in any way, shape or form. Probably the most romantic thing he has ever done was when he made a bacon sandwich for me the day I came out of the hospital after I had Daniel

Wood floors or carpet?

It's 6 and two 3's really - wooden floors are easy to clean and don't show tomato sauce and blood staind like cream carpets But wooden floors show the dust and pet hair loads more than carpets do

Best party you've ever been to?

My best friend's 40th Birthday party over in Wetherby. Had a fantastic time and caught up with our other friend too. We had a really great night - it was just like old times

Favourite scented candle aroma?

I like fruity smells but my favourite is my Cranberry and Peppermint Yankee Candle - it's lovely

When/how did you first discover the Dis?

I found the DIS while looking for info on Hurricane Frances back in 2004. My friend was on her honeymoon in Orlando at the time, we were due to fly out a few days later and she called me at work to tell me aobut the hurricane. I immediately googled, found the DIS and spent the next few days glued to it checking for updates. I registered at the time and did post a little bit but didn't come back until I was planning my holiday in '05 and had forgotten my username and password so I had to reregister

Who was your first boyfriend?

The first guy I kissed also became my first boyfriend - Karl Lovett

How old were you when you first dated?

Proper date, as in taken out somewhere, I was about 15 I think

Do you exercise regularly?

Regularly or at all NOT!

Do you have any hobbies?

Apart from the DIS I have just started scrapbooking and I love cooking (well, baking). DH and I used to go to dance lessons but we stopped earlier this year

What makes you cry?

Anything and everything - I am a big, fat wimp. I am particularly sensitive over anything involving sick kids, like Little Miracles and Children' Hospital

Probably managing to hold down a job, look after Daniel and get promoted while Gary was away in Iraq. I didn't think it was something I would even manage to get through but I did and I came out the other side.

If I could turn back time, I would go back to yesterday and remember that Daniel had a visit to his new school, instead of thinking that it was tomorrow and now having to break his heart in the morning when I tell him I got the dates wrong
