Hi

That project management thing you got was it difficult to do as my boss wants me to get it?

Hi Susan, do you mean the PRINCE2 or the ISEB? They were both fairly easy courses - the PRINCE2 exam was a 3 hour written exam though and was pretty hard :scared:

Is it raining?

Not now, we had a thunderstorm and heavy rain earlier though. The girls were laughing at all the neighbours running around trying to get their washing in - evil little minxes ;)

Hi Joh.
As you are familiar with burmans, and i"ve got two.
Why does one wake me up at 5 O"clock everyday?
Why does the other one not make much noise, and constantly want to be cuddled?

As I am familiar with Birmans, I'm surprised the other one doesn't wake you up as well either by a) nibbling your toes or b) biting your nose (both of which mine used to do :sad2: ) Sounds to me like your cats are very much like little babies - they have their own personalities and foibles and their own ways of getting your attention. Which one do you love more ;)

...books - did you read St Clares and Mallory Towers and long to go to boarding school, what about the Famous Five and Secret Seven, were you into Jill and her ponys. Did you then progress onto the Sweet Valley High Books ?

comics / magazines - Twinkle, did you used to cut out the back page and dress her up, and then it was Bunty, before moving onto Judy and then
Jackie, Blue Jeans and Patches .....

Sorry to butt in, Joh - Jules, you just described my childhood to a tee! :scared1:

what are you most looking forward to about Saratoga ?

Being near Downtown Disney - and being at a new resort :)

are you worried that it won't live up to The Boardwalk ?

No, I'm under no illusions that it won't be the same but I'm going with an open mind. I'm prepared to love it if it will let me :)

why are you strange when it comes to eggs, is it the phlegmy bit when they are not cooked properly ?

I don't like eggs if the white and yolk aren't mixed - so no to fried, boiled and poached but yes to scrambled and omelette. Strange? Me? Never

Feeling inspired after just watching 7 ages of rock, so, some musical ones for you.

Rock or Disco?

Rock - but not heavy metal, I'm more a soft rock kinda gal ;)

If not rock - why not?

See above

Steve Tyler or Joe Perry from Aerosmith?

As an artist or to look at? Love Steve's voice - it's so distinctive especially when blasting in my ears on RnR Coaster :thumbsup2

What was the first band you saw?

AC/DC believe it or not - I didn't even like them before I went to see them. I was a huge fan afterwards :thumbsup2

Who would you most like to see now?

I would love to see Dolly Parton in concert - I was gutted not to be able to get tickets for her recent tour :sad2:

Have you ever been to Ascot?
If yes, any tips?
Why do trains never run when you need them to?

do you tend to eat the same meals every week, if so, tell us a typical weeks worth of dinners ?

Yep, as you know I am a boring eater. My usual (diet week) meals consist of:

Brunch - Muesli and banana or ryvita and low fat cheese

Dinner - Jacket potato with steak or chicken or pork and rice. Occasionally bacon and eggs :thumbsup2

On a non-diet week though, anything goes :rotfl:

ok hon, we are having a girly night in, you me and all your best DIS mates

Woohoo :woohoo:

what are we eating

A humongous chinese takeaway followed by loads of crisps, choccy and ice-cream

what are we drinking

Anything from the alcohol cupboard (unless you're bringing a bottle of Skyy Berry vodka with you, in which case Martinis all round :rotfl: )

what are we listening to

Apart from me talking you mean :rotfl2: 80s music - the cheesier the better

will we watch a film, what will it be

Dirty Dancing :thumbsup2

other than Disney what will we talk about

Men, booze and World peace :thumbsup2

other than the fact that they are lovely names, is there any reason why you picked Sian, Rhiannon and Daniel.

Sian after a girl I was friends with at school - she moved to Brunei and I was gutted :sad2:

Rhiannon from the Fleetwood Mac song

Daniel from the Elton John song

If you were to have more children what would they be called ?

Not gonna happen  But, if Daniel had been a girl he would have been called Eleanor :thumbsup2 Couldn't risk having another boy - it took us just under 9 months to come up with Daniel :rotfl:

do you recycle ?

At work, yes. Not really at home - only bottles and cans. We used to in NI - had proper recycle bins and everything :thumbsup2

would you have smelly pits in an effort to save the environment?

I am very lucky in that I don't tend to smell so I rarely need deodorant. I would hate to be smelly so don't think I could make that sacrifice :sad2:

do you grow your own vegetables like Felicity Kendall

No, I can't even grow my nails, let alone plants or vegetables.

so you are a Dallas fan !

Big time :thumbsup2

Do you think the whole Bobby in the shower thing was just plain silly or a genius bit of scriptwriting?

Plain silly

do you think that Miss Ellie is a silly sap?

No, I think she is an incredibly strong lady - she reminds me a lot of my Grandma

most fanciable male Dallas character ?

Bobby Ewing, of course

most fanciable female Dallas character?

Defintiely Pam :thumbsup2

Did you watch Dynasty, why did Blake have blue hair ?

Never, ever watched it

what about Falcon Crest ?

Nope, not that either - I did watch Knotts Landing though and used to really like it. My best friend was a massive Knotts Landing fan and used to watch it every day without fail. I was round her house the day I went into labour with Rhiannon and she made me wait until Knotts Landing had finished before she would take me to the hospital :lmao:

did you see Neighbours today, I bet Nat did, was that Patricia from Sons and Daughters ?

I didn't see it, I bet Nat did too though - she doesn't do anything all day except sit at home drinking tea, eating biscuits and watching telly you know ;)

**Disclaimer** Natalie, honey, you know I love you really and I'm only kidding

ok while you are asleep tonight, I am going to use my super human powers and turn your world around, so in the perfect world:
who will you wake up next to ?

The same man I want to wake up with every morning - my darling husband of course

who will you look like?

Me but thinner, younger and with perfect hair :rotfl:

will you work if so as what, or maybe a lady who lunches?

I would be a lady wot lunches - and does occasional charity work and general good deeds, like throwing Maundy money and such like :)

the food fairy will visit, the perfect breakie, lunch and dinner ?

Brekkie - warm croissants and marmalade
Lunch - bacon sarnie
Dinner - Steak and chips

what will you wear, more importantly what shoes will you wear and what bag will be on your arm ?

A pair of those skinny jeans like Posh has that lift my bottom up and make it all pert (like a Wonderbra for my rear ;) ) a nice skimpy top and a pair of killer heeled boots with lots of straps :thumbsup2

time for a spot of evening television, what will be the perfect Sky plus planner?

A couple of episodes of Friends (preferably including the one where Chandler and Monica move in together), a gripping ITV drama and Life of Brian

bubble bath or power shower ?

Definitely shower

silk negligee or fluffy jammies

Neither - silk jammies

time for bed, nightcap of hot cocolate or a drop of alcohol

Just a drop? I'll take the alcohol please :thumbsup2

snuggle up with your favourite book or favourite man

I'd read my fave book first and then snuggle with my favourite man

we are of a similar age ? I think I may have a few years on you....

You're right there hun - or was that not a question :rotfl2:

books - did you read St Clares and Mallory Towers and long to go to boarding school, what about the Famous Five and Secret Seven, were you into Jill and her ponys. Did you then progress onto the Sweet Valley High Books ?

Loved all Enid Blyton books. I wanted to live in the Faraway Tree and then Mallory Towers. Didn't like St Clares :sad2: Not a fan of Famous Five particularly, although George reminded me of my cousin. Didn't like horsey books at all but loved the Sweet Valley High books. I used to wish I was Jessica (the not-so-nice twin)

comics / magazines - Twinkle, did you used to cut out the back page and dress her up, and then it was Bunty, before moving onto Judy and then
Jackie, Blue Jeans and Patches .....

Didn't get Twinkle - loved Bunty and Jackie but not Blue Jeans - never heard of Patches. Before long, I'd progressed onto harder stuff like Smash Hits and Just 17 :sad2:

ok I guess you have gone night nights, so last question before I go to, who do you think will win Big Brother, do you really care ?

Nope, I'm still up - was otherwise occupied earlier (blame Nat ;) ). I stopped watching BB about 3 days after it started so I don't know and, no, I don't really care.

Night night hun - thanks for the questions. You've had me :lmao: the last hour or so.

Morning Joh! Another few questions to start your day... ;)

Describe your fave outfit...

What's your Chinese star sign?

Do you have cushions on your sofa?

What worries you late at night?

Do you watch any soaps?

What's the colour scheme in your bedroom?

Is your glass half-empty or half-full?

I didn't see it, I bet Nat did too though - she doesn't do anything all day except sit at home drinking tea, eating biscuits and watching telly you know ;)

**Disclaimer** Natalie, honey, you know I love you really and I'm only kidding

:lmao: i did see it and yes it was patricia !!!

btw i think eleanor is a lovely name as well ;)

Have you ever been to Ascot?

Sorry Mikki, I totally missed your questions last night :guilty: Nope, I've never been to Ascot - only Bath races and NewMarket :)

If yes, any tips?

Betting tips, do you mean? My brother bets on the horses and he always goes for horses with royal-sounding names ;)

Why do trains never run when you need them to?

It's a very complicated law about only one public transport service being allowed to run on time. Presumably, there's a number 63 bus in Derbyshire scheduled to be the reliable transport service today. Sorry
