As God as my witness.I'll never be sick at Disney World again~~~wrapping things up...

The alarm came at 7:45 the next morning. Which I didn't need because I had been up most of the night listening to D.jay, Evan and MIL cough. It sounded like a symphany of mucusy dogs in our room. I was sure someone was going to hack up a lung.

Ethan had woken up around 5 crying because his throat hurt.:sad1: And just so I wouldn't feel left out, my head was throbbing. We were quite a group.

I was glad it was World Showcase day, which meant we didn't have to make any rope drops. when the gift shop opened at our resort I was waiting there in my pj's and a sweater.....this is not normal for me. I grew up with a mom who didn't leave the house, heck she wouldn't even answer the door, unless her face was on and her hair did. I'm not quite that bad, but close.

I was desperate for some drugs.....and for once not for me!
I made a bee line to the micro scopic drug section. I found some anti mucus stuff for the hackers and motrin and sore throat strips for Ethan. Considering the prices they charge for any kind of drug item (remember the gold and pixie dusted tampons of a former trip) you'd think they were selling them on a street corner out of a trunk.
I can just see Mickey as a phramacutical pusher.

I made it back to the room without looking anyone in the eye, for fear that they'd melt upon seeing me without my make up, and handed out the drugs.

I was thinking we wouldn't be making it to the park anytime soon, but the coughers all felt fine...they just sounded like crap.
Ethan on the other hand , had a slight fever and sore throat along with a "head hurt".

But he didn't want to stay at the resort. D.Jay decided that he'd get him a wheelchair again and see how he does for awhile.

Right before we got to the gates at Epcot, Evan spoted a group of white shirts and ties....Elders! He was realy excited. I guess I should explain.. Most young men from our church serve a 2 year mission between the ages of 19 and 21. Evan has been excited about serving since he was about 5....he now only has 3 years untill he'll go. So, to him it was like meeting rock stars.
It was really odd to see them at Disneyworld but we found out that they were all returning home that week and the Elders that serve in orlando get a few days at DisneyWorld before they go home.

As I was waiting for Hunter to finish with the last character, I spoted something that almost made me pee from excitment!! (hmm, maybe that's where my dogs get it from)

I saw Belle in her blue dress walking in the corridor. I had only seen her in the yellow dress before. I'm not sure if it's pathetic or sweet that I got so excited over it. I know my sister votes for pathetic.:rotfl2:

She stopped for a second so we could get a picture. I was seriously shaking from excitment...I like to think it was from low blood sugar.

Earlier that morning when Bailie got dressed she discovered that she had bought a shirt about 3 sizes too big, the night before at MK. So we needed to stop at mousegears for a new shirt. She managed to find a cute one on clearance for $4! I've taught her well.:thumbsup2

As we were heading to WS we had another surprise....Rabbit!! I've never seen him in any of the parks before.

And Max! another first for us

We arrived in Mexico promptly at 11...I love being in WS without alot of people.

We had to make a quick pit stop in the bathrooms in Mexico so I decided to try my hand at bathroom rating.

This was a super clean and fresh smelling one. Probably because we were the first to use it that day.
it got a 1 flusher...

I'm a little worried that one of these days I'm going to be kicked out for taking pictures in the bathroom.:upsidedow

We rode it's a small mexican world and played around with the merchandise.

up next...I meet the disser responsible for my tr's....

I LOVE Bailie's new shirt!!! I wish I had seen it on our last trip. I so would have bought one.

Great report!!

I agree! My DH would never play along.

I love the hat pictures in Mexico too, especially the "small" hats.

D.Jay is always willing to go along with whatever hair brained plan I come up with!

The bf for your MIL :lmao:

Glad your family felt well enough to head to Epcot. Being sick on vacation stinks!

I love an empty WS :cloud9:

i do believe i once paid about $8 for a very small travel-size stick of deodorant from the pop gift store. i hated that i had to do that but i forgot mine. so it was either that or smell like one of those foreign tourists! :lmao: not you, jo! ;)

Okay, I think I've told you before I read your TR at work (sure beats actually working) but I can't respond from work and I'm usually too lazy to go back to it once I get home to comment! But I just had to this time because this is sooooooooo super cool!!! I didn't know the missionaries got to do that! How fun for them! I would have been just as excited to see them too! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

that's part of the evil plan...you pay the outrageous price because you can't go without it!

he is alot of fun....sometimes a little too fun.

Where are the restrooms in the Pavilion? i don't think I've used them. Now I want to with a single flush rating....:thumbsup2
you have to go through the restraunt entrance and they're on the right.

It's like having a mini Mexican vacation while you go potty.

I knew you'd love that!
Evan came home and told our Bishop that he wants to serve in the DisneyWorld mission.

Cherie, I'm so sorry everyone was sick. I'm glad you didn't let it spoil your day. Fun pics - you and Bailey look as pretty as Belle in the "blue dress" shot! :cutie:

hmmm....i feel kinda wierd saying this ,but i can't wait to check this restroom out...(i'm baiting u here). it's like finding a hidden treasure.

Those prices for medications at Disney are truly outrageous! I don't know why they feel the need to charge so much -- it's not like we wouldn't spend the money on something much more fun while we were there.

How cool for Evan to meet the Elders! So, now does he hope he gets to serve in the Orlando area? ;)

Great character pics, and how awesome that you got to meet Belle in her blue dress! You look so excited in the picture!

Love the fun pictures in World Showcase! That whole place is such a great photo op!
