Artists' drawings of the resorts...

I've seen some very nice artist renderings of the various resorts, in the gift shops of the resorts. Specifically, I remember seeing them in the gift shop at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Polynesian, Wilderness Lodge, and just last month at Port Orleans Riverside. They have them framed and unframed.

I've decided that once I remodel my kitchen, those framed prints will look gorgeous on the walls. I plan on painting the walls a rich caramel color, and while they ARE Disney resorts, the designs and colors are very nice, and subtle, not bright or garish.

Anyway, does anyone know if you can call WDW Merchandising to order them? I'll be at the Polynesian resort next month and having lunch at the Wilderness Lodge so I'll be purchasing those resorts while I'm there, but it'd save me a lot of time running to all of the other resorts we've stayed at, if I can call and order them. (I'd need the Grand Floridian {that'd be easy enough to stop there next month), but also Caribbean Beach, and AKL).

If anyone has experience with this, I'd appreciate it!

P.S. Does anyone recall the price? I think it was around $25 for unframed, and maybe around $45 for framed.

Thanks! Yes, that's the size I've seen and the size I want!! Wow, $15 unframed is very good, in my opinion. I knew it was a low price.

I should probably buy them all unframed and then buy coordinating frames at home before I hang them, since I'm not sure whether the frames from the resorts would coordinate with each other, or clash.

I did my living room like my own version of AKL. It is dark tan on 3 walls and deep red on the accent wall. I framed my print along with some photos I took of the outside of the resort and have picked up things here and there that remind me of AKL. I plan on buying the "masks" that are giraffes and zebras when we go in a few weeks.

There is a number to call. Maybe you could even call AKL resort and they could transfer you to the gift shop. We had some things (coffee mugs) shipped to our home when we were there and it pretty much cancels out the sales tax so it is not too expensive. The only problem is that you might want to see them first since there were several choices.

I have the 25th anniversary print from the Polynesian framed and hanging in my office!

I believe the prints come in different shapes, sizes, and perspectives, so it might be hard to shop by phone unless you know exactly what you want. I saw some nice ones of AKL when I was there last month.
