Hi guys!
I had a question regarding the best way to try and get your arrival/departure date moved. I know they emphasize that space is limited and that its first come first serve. I accepted my CP position last Friday and the earliest available was Feb 7/August 12. I'm an RA at my University and our mandatory training starts August 9th. I emailed the college recruiting address asking to have the earlier departure time (August 5th) and they responded that if i needed to depart early because classes were starting at my college before my time in the CP has ended that i would have to fill out the necessary paper work during arrival and that i would have to provide documentation from my school stating that classes were starting. However, classes aren't starting, i need to go back for training! I remember reading somewhere that someone asked and received an earlier arrival time but i dont remember what thread it was in. If anyone has any advice please let me know!

i know my girls have great people at their college. try going to your advisor and explain your situation and ask who would be best to help you. i sure your housing unit could write u a note saying that u have mandatory training. good luck. what will you be doing in disney? where do u go to school?

thanks for the response! I'm sure my director of residence life would be more than willing to write me an excuse... i just didnt know if disney would accept it since i really won't be starting classes then.

I go to Duquesne University in Pittsburgh. And i got accepted in Attractions!! :)

If I remember correctly being an RA would allow you to leave early. I believe it just has to be related to school. You could email the recruiter again just to clarify that you would indeed be allowed to leave early.
