Are you the oldest, youngest, only or in the middle child?

I am an only of an only! I was also an only grandchild on BOTH sides! I made sure my kids wouldn't be onlys! I hate that I have no family.

I am an only child, and DH is second oldest of 7. The first Christmas I spent with his family was insane. There were 4 grandchildren at the time, all of DH's siblings, his parents....

When I was young, DF, DM and I watched each present being opened-one at a time..

At DH's, it was a frantic free for all.. All I could do was step back and hope I still had all of my limbs...

Now there are 13 grandkids. We haven't all been together for Christmas since there were 12-you can imagine the chaos on that day...

But I do enjoy being around all of his family, they are a lot of fun...

I didn't mind being an only child when I was growing up, there were a lot of kids in my neighborhood. I think I was a little spoiled, or maybe I just smelled that way..

I am the youngest of 7 children. There are 6 girls and one boy. My brother is the 3rd oldest. He was spoiled. My parents kept trying for another boy and kept getting girls!

My husband is the oldest of 8 children due to combined families of his parents remarrying.

We have 3 boys!

There were three in my family. An older step-brother, me and then my sister. My brother was younger mentally, so I was pretty much the oldest.

I am the middle. Older sister who was the goody two-shoes, younger brother (who not only was the only son, but the only nephew and grandson so he was really spoiled). That left me stuck in the middle and left to my own devices. I tried to be the exact opposite of my sister, but in the end I turned out good lol.

My husband is the oldest. He was an only for 13 years, then his brother was born.

I am the oldest of 4. I have a brother who is 13 months younger then me. Then my parents waited 7 years and had my sister and then my baby brother 11 months later. It was kind of nice growing up in pairs.

I'm the baby girl after 3 boys. They were 12, 9, & 7 when I was born. DH has an older sister, 4 years older.

My parents had a child before me that passed away at a month old. So, I am the oldest but was an only for 10 years until my sister was born. DH has a sister 4 years younger but his parents did have a child before him that passed away at 12.

I have always wondered how to answer this question. Between my biological mother and father, I am an only child. However, I have two half sisters from my mom's second husband;which would make me the oldest. I have 3 older step siblings from my dad's wife, which would make me the youngest. So, technically I guess I can say I am an only, the youngest and the oldest, plus I am in the middle. Go figure!!!

I am the middle but up until about 10 years ago I was the oldest, that's when we met my older half-sister that had been given up for adoption while my dad was in Vietnam and her biological mom kept her a secret! Too many details!
