Are you suppose to tip horse drawn carriage drivers?

Just wondering. I am assuming yes, but wanted to see what others have done. I want to take a ride in Central Park. It's about $35 for the first 20 minutes, then $10 for each 15 minutes thereafter. So, should we leave the driver a tip, and if so, how much would be good?

Thanks!

When we did the sleigh ride from Wilderness Lodge last Christmas holiday, I tipped the driver $10 for the $30 ride.

We did. Ours really talked to us and acted like a real tour guide.

hi all,
i would say 10 dollars is a nice tip for the driver and 2 apples or carrots for the horse is good too but you might look funny carring around fresh fruit all day. :teeth:

$10.00 it is then.
Thank you so much. I really wasn't sure, as I have not been on one of these before. I can't wait to do so :flower:
