DAY 1
After a short break back at CBR, we're soon catching a bus to Magic Kingdom. It wasn't really planned that we'd go to a park this day, since we weren't sure if we'd have our tickets... but since we did- why not use them?
It was pretty dark outside by now, so I can only assume it was after nine o'clock.
The first place we headed, was Pirates of the Caribbean
It was cute to see that Blackbeard had now taken the place of Davy Jones in the fog thing during the ride. It was a little ridiculous that the man in front of us was trying to take a picture of it... he tried at least three times and each time he said "it's not working!" I'm thinking the fog doesn't want to be photographed.
After POTC, we of course have to stop at the rest rooms right next door- since we can't pass the opportunity to go to the rest room... except me. I don't really like using public bathrooms.
Hmm.. under construction
We decided to go get some FP's for Big Thunder Mountain, since we LOVE to ride that ride at night! It's just a whole different experience, riding it at night, versus riding it during the day
Where to next? Haunted Mansion! I had told everyone that there was a new queue, but either nobody had really listened to me, or this wasn't exactly what they were expecting. Nevertheless, the queue is pretty cool.
And the new Hitch Hiking Ghost thing- SO COOL. I like it way better than before. It's so much more itneractive, and I think it's awesome that it knows how many people are in your doom buggy and where your heads are. On this ride our ghost put funny ghost masks over our faces. It really cool.
It's a Small World was next. We decided to just get it over with, since my mom loves this ride and makes us ride it at least once a trip.
By now it was time to use our FPs for BTMRR. It was so enjoyable! I love that ride
Afterwards, my brothers both got a pretzel.
We rode TTA, which is really relaxing. And the Tom Morrow speech is in a different location now, it seems.
After TTA I was sort of tired and felt that we had accomplished a lot. But my brothers suggested Buzz Lightyear, since we were right there and it was only a ten minute wait. I hate this ride. I never get more than 600 points, while everyone else is getting 400,000 each time. But I reluctantly rode it. The wait wasn't that long, and I get in a cart with my mom.
We're SECONDS into the ride, and I look down at my score and it's already at 100,000! I was a little shocked, I mean, I must have hit something worth a lot. I had no idea what I hit, so I kept my finger pressed down on the shooter and didn't remove it. Next thing I know, BAM my score is up
and then again
and again
by now the ride has stopped moving, but that didn't mean you had to stop shooting. I honestly had NO idea where I was shooting this thing or what I was shooting at, but whatever I was doing- it was working
my score just kept climbing
My mom looked pretty surprised, and we checked out everyone else scores (since they were sitting in front of us we could see) and I had the highest one.
We started moving, but I kept shooting.
I just kept going, I was so clueless as to what I was shooting at, I can't even remember! We had changed rooms so I had to find my next target... and whatever it was- it worked.
The girl who never gets about 400 points on this ride actually gets the highest amount you possibly can.
I was pretty excited- not gonna lie! We still had to go through the room where you shoot the ship on the screen and I had already gotten to 999,999! After that room though, my dad got to 999,999 too. But I got to it first, so I won
It was pretty awesome to finally be the winner of that gave, instead of always coming in last.
After Buzz Lightyear, we caught the bus back to CBR and called it a night.
