Are You Seeing an Increase in Bardledoo? Sure am! July 2011 *Updated 10/9 pg. 9*

Wow this is a really long comment lol

Tom Morrow's pretty easy to hear, I'm not sure how you missed it. Unless it wasn't even in the script when you went, I don't know though.

It wasn't the people working there when we ate at Mexico, it was the food for sure, stale chips and I'm usually not a big fan of Mexican :confused3

I generally write really long comments for my TRs lololol

:confused3 I'll have to listen closely the next time I'm there.

Oh... well I didn't notice a difference the last time I went, but if your not a fan of Mexican food when I am I guess that says something :/

Way to go on Buzz:) When I was there in June my friend's son and I rode together and he also got a perfect score...I sadly only had about 14,000:(

If you don't mind me asking what is sum of all thrills? (I hate to admit but I don't think I have been inside an innovations building in a long time)

I have to agree with your assessment of the new CS in Mexico. My family was very disappointed because they no longer serve burritos and that was our favorite!

Mexican food is good, I love nachos and tacos and the like, I just didn't like the food there.

That's normally me, everyone else gets a great score and I am stuck in the thousands

Sum of All Thrills is this thing in Innoventions where you can design your own rollercoaster and it can go upside down and down big hills or really fast. And you scan it onto this card and then when it'd your turn you get to ride in these movable arm type things- it's a simulater, your upper body is inside this screen thing and you can see the rollercoaster infront of you and the arm that you're attached to moves you around so you actually feel like you're on the rollercoaster- it's pretty cool!

Day 2

DSC01668.jpg

After our lunch in Mexico, we saw the Mariachi band and this lady asked to sing with them- and she was really good! I took a video of her, but I hadn't uploaded it to photobucket, it was still in my folders on my laptop. Well, my laptop had some problems and my uncle had to restart the whole thing so I lost everything... I totally forgot about the video. But I did take a picture of her.

DSC01671.jpg

She was REALLY good, of course the song was in Spanish so I had no idea what she was singing, but it sounded beautiful.

DSC01674.jpg

We went inside Mexico to ride "the mexico ride" as we called it
DSC01676.jpg

DSC01677.jpg

DSC01679.jpg

Afterwards we went to Norway, to ride Maelstrom
DSC01681.jpg

DSC01682.jpg

we got the red card
DSC01684.jpg

It was a short wait and the ride was entertaining.
When we went backwards and the troll thing popped up, the lady behind us screams "oh @%$&"

DSC01686.jpg

It was time to use our TT FP's, but TT was down :/
So we went in the shop and went to look at cars

16th birthday present? (;
DSC01691.jpg

When we left there was a line for FP's to TT so we hopped in it, since we were going to use our FP's and the ride was supposed to start back up soon
DSC01696.jpg

DSC01697.jpg

I think I was the one who ended up having to sit next to the stranger. lol I hate sitting next to people I don't know. But it was fun, as always!

This ended our time in Epcot
DSC01700.jpg

We had to get going, because it was a pretty long drive to Tampa, which was where we were headed for the night.

DSC01702.jpg

DSC01704.jpg

continued in next post

*continued*

At the first sight of the bathroom, we HAD to stop.

DSC01710.jpg

When we got back to CBR, we went to the room to change into our gear and went to the car to start our long drive to Tampa
DSC01712.jpg

Wait... why were we going to Tampa?
DSC01738.jpg

That's why!

That's so cool a lady sang with the mariachi band! Based on what you say about her I would've loved to hear her sang. Hopefully you can get that video up :teeth:

LOL @ the lady on Maelstrom. It's amazing how well censored I am in Disney now that I think of it LOL But that must've been a shocker to hear (: And sweet ride! Totally 16th Birthday worth :thumbsup2

Now you are off to Tampa... Let's just say I'll be rooting for the opposite team in the next chapter, my apologies :flower3:

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

That's pretty cool that they let the lady sing with the Mariachi band.
And that is too funny about the lady on the Maelstrom:rotfl: Can't wait to hear about the baseball game!

I can't get the video up, because I no longer have it, like I said, everything was deleted and I hadn't uploaded it yet... so no video :/

I know right haha (:

Day 2

*So I know this has nothing to do with Disney, which is why I'll make this a very quick and to the point update. But I wanted to include it because this is a report about my whole trip, and going to Tampa was part of it- so I must include it! Even if the outcome is horrible lol*

So we drove ~3 hours to Tampa

Joe noticed that now the pineapples on the sign to CBR have been painted
DSC01713.jpg

If you go back and look at my picture of the sign before, the pineapples are painted... weird!

DSC01714.jpg

DSC01715.jpg

We got to the stadium and had to wait in a line outside before they let anyone in the stadium
DSC01716.jpg

Then once we got in, we had to wait thirty or so minutes to get to our seats because they hadn't opened up the seating area yet!

When we FINALLY got to our seats (by right field, right behind the Yankees right fielder, Nick Swisher) batting practice was going on for the Yankees
DSC01717.jpg

The stadium is covered
DSC01718.jpg

DSC01719.jpg

And to be frank, that was probably the only good thing about it. The stadium stunk... they had messed up speakers that would make these horrible screeching noises for a long time. And they didn't even have a bull pen, so when they were warming up a pitcher they had to take them out onto the field and over to the side!

The guys behind us were saying how TB's fans only came to games when the Rays were playing the Yankees or the Red Sox and that the stadium should be moved to Orlando.

And honestly, there were as many Yankee fans there (if not more) than Rays fans... which is really weird to have as many fans for the away team than the home team!

IMG_9414.jpg

IMG_9415.jpg

The lady and her boyfriend next to us wre Yankee fans, there was a group of three infront of us- tw were TB fans and their friend was a Yankee fan, the people to our left were... i dont even know lol and the people behind us were yankee fans.

So soon the game started- and Nick Swisher was so close to us
IMG_9416.jpg

IMG_9417.jpg

My favorite player, Robinson Cano
DSC01729.jpg

Hit a homerun! (the only one of the game)
My brother even caught it on video- he got it on the video camera so I'll have to upload that sometime. It's really awesome!

DSC01735.jpg

See the old man behind us?
He was really funny and I may or may not have listened to his conversation with the old couple to his right who he befriended. The two old men talked about how they love the Yankees and all this stuff about how they grew up loving them and stuff. And the man in the picture above even had his own little score book where he must keep scores of all the yankee games he goes to. He was funny and would shout out hilarious things, but I can't remember anything he said... huh...

Anyways, it was a realy good game... until the seventh inning. And I don't want to talk about anything after then (let's just say the Yankees got robbed.)

DSC01737.jpg

See the grass that's painted to look like dirt? That's where they warmed up the pitchers... it was really weird...

DSC01741.jpg

We got ice cream in the little cups (now I have a TB helmet to add to my collection with my Yankees helmet, Indians helmet, White Sox helmet, and two helmets from the minor league team in NC.)

DSC01742.jpg

Their mascot was annoying hahaha and at first I thought the cow bells all the fans had were cool! Until they started ringing them in my ear hahaha

So the game finished. And as we're walking out to the hall from the stands, GUESS WHO WE SEE? Kid Rock! Now, if you're me, you have no idea who Kid Rock is. But my mom knew and she told us how she saw him earlier but didn't think it was him.
DSC01744.jpg

i tried to take a picture of him, but some lady bumped into me!
but if you look at the pole in the picture, there's a little pale pink spot and that's him. He was wearing a pink shirt and taking pictures with some fans
But yep, we saw Kid Rock and it really made me angry that I didn't get a good picture of him ):

We left TB's stadium and started the drive back to Orlando!

That is awesome that you were able to see the Yankees play! Sorry to hear about their loss though:(

DAY 3

Today was the day- we were going to the Polynesian! We packed up all of our stuff, left CBR, and headed on our way to paradise.

I was forced to sit in the back row, since I never do (which is the way I like it) so I gave my camera to J, who took pictures for me.

DSC01750.jpg

DSC01752.jpg

IMG_9422.jpg

We caught up to a yellow taxi, where my brothers found the ad on it just hilarious
DSC01753.jpg

IMG_9429.jpg

It says "Chop House" but we thought "Chop Shop" sounded better :P

DSC01756.jpg

DSC01757.jpg

DSC01758.jpg

DSC01759.jpg

DSC01760.jpg

J thought it was funny to take a picture of all of the CMs we encountered at the Poly. And he did just that!

IMG_9433.jpg

DSC01761.jpg

DSC01763.jpg

the man who came up to us first
DSC01768.jpg

DSC01769.jpg

then this guy took our luggage
DSC01770.jpg

(and when the trunk opened, about half the bags fell on top of me- which is why I hate sitting in the back)

IMG_9434.jpg

IMG_9436.jpg

I took the camera back from J, so he missed taking a picture of the next man who came up to us. I forgot his name, but he took us to go check in and he told me he liked my shirt (which I love)

DSC01776.jpg

We got leis!
IMG_9440.jpg

IMG_9442.jpg

IMG_9444.jpg

And for the first time EVER our room was not ready. Out of all the times we've stayed on property, this was or first time we had to wait for our room. And I had always thought, that I would hate just going to a park without going to our room first. I don't know why, I just don't like it. But they said it could take up to 4 o'clock
and it was only
DSC01775.jpg

So, we headed to the Contemporary to do some shopping and the boys wanted to go to the arcade (since apparently out of the three monorail hotels- the Contemporary has the best. GF's is horrible and I actually thought the Poly's was okay!)
IMG_9446.jpg

DSC01787.jpg

So, now that we were at the Contemporary- what interesting things would go on?
