I plan to watch too. Not because I support the topic of the show but more so because my friends kids are in it. Two of them plan Cloe S (sp) son and her other is a stand in for one of the other families. They filmed the series a while ago and it is finally coming out. It should do well with the stars in it plus all the publicity hype too. She said it is a unique show and not somehting her 5 year olds would be allowed to watch. There were some scenes she had to have rewritten or where the boys were in because of moral issues but other than that it is supposed to be good.

I plan to watch Sopranos and follow right into Big Love! Looks like a good line up for Sunday nights.

Does anyone know if Big Love is based on a book or someone's real account of their lives living with a polygamist? I'm curious to see if this is "true to THEIR life"! I heard on a news magazine show (forget which one) oh, I remember like 20/20, Dateline, Prime Time (one of them) that one of the BIGGEST problems with the wives is jealousy. This came from a FORMER WIFE, yet when this show interviewed the 4 wives of a polygamist, they all said JEALOUSY is NEVER a problem!!! I am just wondering how this will all play out on the show....hmmmm?

Where does that word "polygamy" even come from???
