Is it possible to get 2 Value Studio's that ajoin at AKV? Anyone know? Thanks!

No, all studios will either adjoin a 1BR to make a 2BR or are "dedicated" meaning they do not have any internal doors adjoining another room. That is true throughtout the WDW DVC resorts

the way Lisa explained the value resorts are in different places. so they may be close to each other with just a 1-bedroom in between them - or in completely different areas.

might go with a standard - they are all close to the swimming pool area.

As everyone has already said, there are no connecting studios but there are many studios that are next door to another studio and/or right across the hall from another studio.

This map shows the units that have been declared into AKV so far. Each unit is labeled with the room types which are either 2BR lockoffs or dedicated studios. (A 2BR lockoff can be rented as a 1BR and studio.) As you can see, there are many places throughout the resort where there are dedicated studios either right next to each other or directly across the hall from one another. Even within the blocks of two 2BR lockoffs, depending on the layout of the 2BR villa you either get 1BR+studio+studio+1BR or studio+1BR+1BR+studio so there can be two lockoff studios side by side as well.

The Value villas are marked in yellow. Units 47 and 50 each contain 4 dedicated studios so it's possible to get dedicated Value studios that are either right next to each other or just on opposite sides of a short walkway. On the other hand, you could end up with one in Unit 50 and the other in Unit 47 on the opposite side.

When you make your reservations ask MS to add a request that the two studios be as close to one another as possible. Good luck!

Hi!

We recently stayed in Room 5401....this room has a great view!!

By the way, it was a studio connected to a 1BR.

We will be staying in a savannah view studio. The reservation says that it is a dedicated studio. I have read about the rooms that have terrible views of the safety zones. Where are those zones located and what area should I request to be in a good view? The map looks as though Arusha may be the best away from the lobby but since I have never stayed there I really don't know. Thanks for any help.
