Are the Transportation options at the Poly better than GF

We will be staying at the Poly for the first time and are wondering if the transport options are better than the GF for any of the Disney parks? Does it make much difference going to Epcot or Hollywood Studios? Animal kingdom and Downtown Disney looks like there is no advantage at staying at the Poly or GF?

The applicable buses serve Poly and GF jointly, and thus same bus goes to Studios, or AKV, or Disney Springs. Both share the same MK monorail system. One difference is that from GF you can walk to MK, and from Poly you can walk to the monorail that goes to Epcot.

They all stop first at the Poly though, so you are less likely to encounter a crowded or full train or bus.

We love staying at the Poly versus the GF, as at the Poly, you can walk to the Ticket and Trans Center, and just take one monorail to Epcot.

I've stayed both.
Didn't see much difference in transportation.
I prefer Poly's bus stop though.
Feel like its more relaxed and has more benches.
Personally I like Poly as a resort better.

Epcot - you can easily walk from the Poly to the TTC to catch the direct Epcot monorail thus avoiding taking the resort monorail to hop to the Epcot monorail.
DHS/AK/DTD - are all bus only, but as mentioned all buses stop at the Poly first, thus during busy times you’ll likely get a seat going to the park/DTD. I’ve seen ECVs unable to board a bus at the GF because the bus already had ECVs on it.
MK - is a moderate walk from the GF, likely too long for most from the Poly. The MK boat loops MK to the GF to the Poly.

Yes - walking to the TTC makes the Epcot trip much quicker

VGF to Epcot can be long and vice versa. When we there a month ago we were trying to go back to VGF from Epcot to change before our dinner reservation. My son ditched us and grabbed the last spot on a monorail car. My wife and I decided to wait for the next one. Well something happened and his monorail was sent back. We ended up taking a bus from Boardwalk and my son still beat us back. He got to the TTC and the walked to Poky and hopped on the monorail.
