Are HH Studios hard to get for June?

DH and I have decided we want to go to HH in June with the kids. We only have 150 points per year so we like to make them stretch as much as possible (wish we could afford more points, but we are happy to have the 150).

I told him that I thought I had read on this board that it is very hard to get a studio at HH in the summer (it isn't our home resort, so we can't book until November for the 7 month window).

Do you think we might be able to get a studio? I told him we may have to go with a 1 bedroom, which will change the amount of time we can stay.

If you are looking at early June, your chances may be a little better.

There are 21 studios and 21 1BR's total at the resort, so they do tend to be in high demand. June, July and August are the busiest season, followed by Spring Break and Thanksgiving.

As with all DVC resorts, you'll never know about availability until you call. Anything is possible! Even if there is nothing available when you call at 7 months, get on the waitlist- since there are openings all the time.
