Just got an email from DCL confirming the April 6 announcement. It says to go to Disneycruise.com at 1pm EDT for the big news.

I am really hoping to cruise on the Wonder to Hawaii next year and this article gave me hope for next April, but I haven't seen any conversation here for an April sailing (just September). Should/can I get my hopes up??

Am I missing something? I thought the MAgic was stopping at PC on the 8 day cruises?

I can't believe that the Hawaii cruise is April 29th. I'm getting married on May 5th, 2012 on another cruise line, then jumping onto the Disney Fantasy May 12th, for our honeymoon cruise.

It just really sucks that we can't also do the Hawaii cruise next year.

Aside from the Hawaii cruise, and maybe the 5-day Canadian one. The other new cruises don't interest me at all

And you could extend that with a 2-day cruise to nowhere!!!

September is only speculation based on port reservations for DCL, April 29 is the only date we have seen for Hawaii that seems to be a certainty. Although until DCL announces it is all speculation, BUT I have my deposit made with my TA "just in case".

Looks like both the Magic and Fantasy will be doing Western Caribbean cruises out of different ports. Am I understanding this correctly?

I am SO curious about this too. Since we live less than 2 hours from Seattle, the repo from LA to Seattle is the one I really want to do! My mind is racing with the possibilities...

I think that's what I'm booking Friday if announcement proves all of this to be true. I really want to do Galveston as well, but can't afford to book all 3 this week and I really don't want Thanksgiving week...I really want Christmas break so maybe I'll hold out and see if they are able to extend those dates into Christmas....

So HOPING that it's true... Leaving NYC would be nice and handy for us!

I'd love the Bahamas on the Magic end of May, beginning of June.

I wonder if this is truth? When do you think we can start booking/researching..

Would like to also know what is happening with the Wonder at Christmas time and the weeks in between before Alaska and after Hawaii....would like to do the Hawaii cruise just to be on the ship for 2 weeks...but it is always like that during school.

We did the repo cruise for Panama Canal but the kids were younger and easy to take out of school and just make up work on the ship. They are in High school now and no way can they miss any school.

We are doing Alaska this summer so wont be doing that again and have been to Mexico flying and cruising so many times since we live in San Diego. May just have to do Mexico again. Will see.


May be time to start looking elsewhere....kids are 17 and 14 so may find cruising on another line more exciting with new things to see and do. But we love cruising with DCL so much we may feel like a traitor
