Cool clip. Looks a little cleaner than the last time I was there. Still that being the last day I reall have no desire to get off, it will be the perfect time to finish packing.

Thanks, Jackie. I have my doubts about getting off the ship in MX. Can't say for sure what we'll be doing that day. Maybe do laundry and pack.

I know I'm in the minority, but I do actually look forward to Ensenada. :cool1:

There used to be a tasting tour (hoping there still is) that took us to a winery up in the hills outside of Ensenada where we got the most amazing local olive oil - I mean really good to the last drop!! The wine wasn't bad, but they also grow the olives there along with their grapes. Seriously good olive oil...for anyone who may be in to such weird things!!

The only other time we've found any olive oil this yummy was in Montserrat, outside of Barcelona...and we called it Holy Oil because it was so good. :rotfl2:

The first time we did the tour, we had a wonderful guide who made a short stop at a local bakery to pick up some freshly baked bread (smelled great all the way up the hill!), talked about the land & the artichoke fields & the politics, intelligently, stopped at a bull ring as a lookout/pitstop ........ and even though it was CROWDED (another cruise line showed up at the same time), they were super generous with the tastings & we had a great time.

The second time we did a tour (a few yrs later)....not so good. Pre-packaged bread & a bad, stereotypical Hispanic dude with terrible jokes about a sugar momma...ugh... but....bought some more of that wonderful oil!! lol So it all worked out. Just thought I'd share that, for what it's worth!!

We set sail in 22 weeks! That's 154 days!

Oh yes the Toy Story short was cool. I have to admit it was cool to see Chris Cooper raping.

I assume you meant Chris Cooper was rapping. We all need an editor now and then, especially us editors!

Oh good. I was afraid to read further because I couldn't figure out the whole raping thing... I haven't seen the movie.

I just got off the beautiful Wonder this morning. I didn't want to get off and I can't wait to spend 15 nights on her sailing to Hawaii! Most CMs I talked to hope to be on this cruise as well. We had a ton of fun with Mr. Donald and Samson in Cove Cafe and can't wait to spend many more hours in there. I can barely get into reality after 7 nights, how will I be after 15??

Yep, a final sea day for us. Maybe they will have a good spa port day special. :thumbsup2

Too fun!! Glad you had a great cruise!! We will actually be boarding the Wonder this coming Sunday!! :cheer2:

Last minute trip decision & for the first time, NO planes!! :drive:

I've only been on this ship once before & it was a blink-and-you-missed it, 3 nighter, so maybe this time I will even learn the correct names for those places that have the "wrong" colors & names...lol

The only time we were on the Wonder was for a 4-night DVC member cruise, and it surely flew like a bird! We've spent much more time on the Magic (e.g., 14 night transatlantic), and so are also much more familiar w/it. We did the Dream in Feb. That seemed like a very quick trip because the whole ship was new and unfamiliar; it took us most of that time just to figure out how to navigate our way around! Oh, and walk from one end to the other! :rotfl:

I'm really looking forward to being on the Wonder, its our first sailing on it, we've only ever been on the Magic so far.

I'm with you on everything here!! We are so used to the Magic that it's an eerie feeling to see different names & colors in a way - like someone redecorated your house while you were sleeping or something! lol But I understand it will also be decorated for Christmas now, so that will be a treat!!

And we did the Dream in March, and I agree, it's huge!! Plus we tried the concierge & it flew by (3 nights), & looking back, I felt like I never left the lounge (well, there was fresh ground coffee )!

Me too...I think the longer cruises will be so different from our little 3 night and much nicer - even the 7 night we're doing. Love the style & size of the "classic" ships.

It is very similar to the Magic, but as Bev says, with these little differences. At least you won't have any trouble finding your way around, since the layout is the same.

The longer cruises are fantastic. You really get a chance to get to know your fellow passengers (and make good friends), as well as your service team. It's cool that you'll see the ship in Christmas mode. We've never been aboard during the holidays...maybe someday.

Hello All,

I am seriously considering booking this cruise. I have a freshman in high school and I am just hoping she can home school for 2 weeks.

I am looking in to prices and it looks like as of yesterday, the category 10 rooms ar coming and going. I called Dreams Unlimited and if I book with them, I get a $325 credit. Costco will give a $665 gift card.

Are there any other deals I should know about? I live in the LA area so I won't need flights:)

I have sailed Dis Western Caribean 2007 and EBTA 2010. Hello to those who were with me last year!!!!:goodvibes

Is there any other Houstonians on this cruise???
I was just looking into flights and wanted to see which flight would be best.

Only 5 more months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Val, I can't seem to get into either of the google docs about the shirts. We are still in -
for 2 shirts and some yardage - I forget what I asked for.

Never mind - I found a later post with good links If you're looking for it too, it's POST 14!

We need more 13 more orders to get the price down :)

Hello, hello fellow cruisers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so I finally committed. We are in GTY 10C.

I am trying to catch up on all that I have missed out. I am super excited. Time is ticking (hehehe).

I have pm'ed those in charge of the FE, lanyards, and champagne tasting. I hope I did this all right. Did I say how excited I am? :woohoo:

I hope I can catch up to all of you!!!
