So - where is everyone from?

I know it says on some of our avatar's, but not everybody's. I just thought it might be nice to know where everyone is starting their journey.

I'll start - My family lives in Candler, North Carolina - a little west of Asheville & the beautiful Biltmore Estate.

We are from The Great State of Texas! San Antonio to be exact. We have only been here for 2 years and before that Round Rock, TX (just outside of Austin) which we loved but you have to go where the job takes ya!

I'm from Miami. I just heard the news that there'll be Miami sailings beginning 2013 so I'm thinking of booking one of those sailings onboard for the credit and discount!

I stayed up to late last night but at 12:00 I was able to get brunch at Palo on the 26th and got 11:00 check-in time at the port on the 25th, but sadly all the beach cabana's where gone. Its going to be great we will leave Springfield MO. on the 23rd and drive making one stop along the way.

One last thing what church services are offerd on board?

We were lucky enough to get cabana #2, but they go fast. Keep checking back and you never know,,it's bound that one cabana will get cancelled. Plus check once you get on board because I know they keep a few for concierge and let them go afterwards if they don't book.

I grew up in Geneva, Oh and have relatives in Buffalo. I cannot tell you how many times we went to Niagra Falls growing up---that place is absolutely beautiful!

We are soo excited to be taking our second cruise this year! It's so close yet so far away. Any veterans of the Magic with kids have any suggestions? My children are DD who is 11, DS 7 (will turn 8 on our cruise!) and DS 5. We sailed on the Dream last year and did a 3 day, which was such a tease. I wanted to do a 7 day this time but hubby suggested a 5 day first to get the kids ready for a bigger trip. I'm a little more than worried about my DD who will be allowed to go to the tweens club by herself. How can I make this a little less of an anxiety creator? Any suggestions or tips? Any must do's?

This will be our first cruise and we are so excited! We actually had April 21st on the Fantasy booked but this works out better for us so we can go to Universal Studios before the cruise. We'll be in room 8548.

We're cruising with DD (2) and DD (13). Any other girls around our older daughter's age going on this cruise? She's ready to start meeting people. Also, has anyone cruised w/ a 2yr. old before? Can't wait to see you all on the cruise!! Yayyy!

My DD is 11. I would love it if she could make some friends while away..I would feel better about leaving her at the tweens club alone!

we are interested in doing the Fish Extender! Our room number is 8574. It will be me Jessica 29, DH Trevor 35, DD Destiny 11, DS Dylan who will turn 8 on our cruise on the 28th! and DS Jayden 5. We are so excited to be taking our second cruise!!!! Can we get a list of people and room numbers as well so we can return the favor???

is your daughter now 13? I just noticed in your signature that it said 8...wasn't sure if it just wasn't updated. My DD just turned 11 in Jan, my middle DS will turn 8 on april 18th and my other DS will be 6 in june. I'm still trying to convince my youngest to leave us for a little bit and go to the kids club so mommy and daddy can get a little bit to ourselves. We would be happy with even a half hour but so far he's not having it. We left his last year in the club with his brother and sister but within 15 mins they were paging us to come get him. UGH..hoping he grows up a little and will let us escape, I even tried bribing him and telling him if he let us go I would bring him back a gift...he still didn't fall for it!

Sounds like a great idea to me! I am really unsure of leaving her in the tween club by herself and trusting her to stay there until I come back. Her ADHD may have her tempted to leave and explore but I don't know that I can trust her to not lose the phone or her KTWC.

whoo hoo I love surprises! My son will also celebrate his birthday on the boat. He will be turning 8. We have told the kids about the trip completely, except for the fact that we are going to be doing a b2b thanks to our tax return They have no clue and we are trying to figure out how not to tell them until the very last minute (as in as we are getting off from the first and still not telling them until we are back in the port terminal again!) Any suggestions??? We have never done a b2b and my son is going to be super excited he gets to spend 9 days there now!
