That sounds like a great place to me! This is my 1st cruise, so I don't know all that much about the ship. So - lets plan on that!

MEET & GREET ON BOARDING DAY - 3PM @ THE PROMENADE LOUNGE ON DECK 3 - PORT SIDE - MID SHIP!

Hello everyone, I am so excited, we just booked our first cruise. We have told our daughter that we are going on a cruise but we are not telling her that it is a Disney Cruise. She will turn 12 on the boat.

whoo hoo I love surprises! My son will also celebrate his birthday on the boat. He will be turning 8. We have told the kids about the trip completely, except for the fact that we are going to be doing a b2b thanks to our tax return They have no clue and we are trying to figure out how not to tell them until the very last minute (as in as we are getting off from the first and still not telling them until we are back in the port terminal again!) Any suggestions??? We have never done a b2b and my son is going to be super excited he gets to spend 9 days there now!

That's awesome that you guy get to spend 9 days there. The only suggestion I have (and this is what we are trying) is to tell as few people as possible, my only fear is that I will be the one to let the cat out of the bag

Thank you very much for the Welcome Aboard, I'm glad to know that we are not the only first timers on board. I'm not sure if we are doing the fish extender exchange just yet, I will get back with you on that. We are in cabin 7612.

No, she will be turning 9 the day before the cruise but your 7 and 6 year olds will be right inbetween ours, maybe my kids can convince your youngest to hang in the club for awhile so you can have a vacation from them! Our kids can't wait to leave us,,lol!

Hahaha we havent told anyone but one friend who isn't saying a word and luckily doesn't see my kids that often so I won't have anything to worry about . The only people that really know are on here and I know no one here is spilling

We will be on this cruise as well. It will be me, DH, DD15 (turning sweet 16 on the cruise ) and DStepD 9. We are so excited!!!! This will be our 3rd Disney cruise. We have been to Disney World a crazy number of times so my family (I was out voted) has decided to give Universal a try this time and spend a few days there before the cruise. Our girls have never been to Universal and we are huge Harry Potter fans so we are all actually excited to go. I'll have to live without getting my Disney World fix this time. Happy Planning Everyone!!!!!

I can not wait! Our first cruise and looks like we are going to be in great company! As he might have mentioned, our 11 year old daughter will turn 12 while on the ship. Now THAT is a good birthday!

We just booked our cruise this week. PROCRASTINATION!

Can some of you 'experienced' cruisers fill me in on what to expect? I just dont even know where to start.

I hope I get the chance to meet you all while on the ship!

welcome! my Ds will be turning 8 on the cruise as well. This will be our 2nd cruise...the kids know about this one but not the 4 day that is to follow as a b2b! We did a 3 day on the Dream last year. My kids had so much fun they cried the last day because I didn't have the money to stay! There is too much to do in a 3 day and I'm sure it's the same for a 5 day. Don't try to rush it, just pick a few things a day that you want to do and do them. I recommend the shows. I only go to see "Believe" last time and I was glued! The kids clubs are awesome...my daughter gets to try the tween club this time, she is 11. My DS who will be 8 cant wait for the club and my other DS 5 isn't sure he wants to be away from us yet. Most of all just relax, your on vacation!

No, actually dear that "wow" was supposed to be a longer post about what appeared to be a price jump for our cruise since the 75 day mark has come and gone. I didn't get a chance to complete my post as I was posting from my phone and it has a mind of it's own. By the time I went back in to complete my post I realized that I must have been looking at either a different cat or the 4 day Dream prices because our cruise is the same amount that it's been for a while........ I'll make sure that I monitor what I post in the future so no one gets the wrong idea! No more starting posts from my phone.
