APRIL 25,2012 5 night THE MAGIC KEY WEST CRUISE

Hi all - I asked this on the main board but nobody has replied, so hoping somebody with experience of Key West and the dock area may know.

I was look at the port schedule for Key West and it has The Magic docking at the outer mole. As this is a naval dock you cannot walk to the main area of Key West and are shuttled to outside of the aquarium.

Does anybody know whether the shuttles are wheelchair accessible? Anybody have any experience of this?

Sounds like a great idea to me! I am really unsure of leaving her in the tween club by herself and trusting her to stay there until I come back. Her ADHD may have her tempted to leave and explore but I don't know that I can trust her to not lose the phone or her KTWC.

I saw that you guys are doing the FE exchange. The girls could meet when we all meet up for that and see if they want to go to the club together. I think the FE coordinator has us meeting up on the first day.

I don't know how the rest of you have waited over a YEAR, just waiting my 75 days is already killing me!

It is driving me insane that we are surprising our daughter with the trip... so I cant even tell her about the other kids that are going to be there. She thinks we are going on 'an old people cruise'. LOL! She will find out when we get to the boat! (Anyone else have a TWEEN traveling?)

We are on the sailing as well. Just John (26) and Kerry (26) from Raleigh, NC. This is our second DCL Cruise and our 9th Cruise overall. We also have the fantasy booked for september.

I am sure Hailey will make lots of friends while she is there, and she has been wanting some Pen Pals, so I guess she will find some. I feel like I am sort of robbing her of the 'getting excited' part of this, but it will be worth it to see her face.

James , I think why I did not get your PM responce was I think you have to have so many posts before you may PM anyone. Like 10 I think.
...and as for that change.....I just did a DCL on line check and it is still there bigger than life. Do not ask them if it is available....tell them what you want with the room number.
One time a couple of cruises back,we tryed to pick a room from this one cat that we wanted and they [DCL] said it is A gty cat........so I went to Southwest travel, got the room from them called DCL back up and talked to some one there" in the know "....told her what I did...she was very sorry and got thing all fixed up so I could get all my on board credit and all perks coming to me.

I am beyond ready - We usually fly in a nite or 2 before but this time we are flying in same day - our plane lands at 10:20 am so we should have plenty of time to stop at store and get there early.....68 days and counting....

Gonna pass on the FE this year. This cruise is way about relaxation and stress free as it may be our last vacation as just the two of us for a little while. We may not even get off at some of the ports of call.

We have nothing booked except PALO and plans of the rainforest room. We are definately driving down this time, but havent decided yet if we're going to go the night before afterwork, or get up early in the morning and head down.

DS is Tyler-10- loves video and computer games. Shyer than his sister.
DD is Mackenzie-6 (7 @ cruise time)- all star competition cheerleader, super friendly loves girly stuff.

My parents are also cruising with us- this is definitely not their first cruise but first time on Disney!!
I haven't decided on any excursions yet. I do enjoy reading everyones opinions on them though.
