Just checked and the $35 coupon now says expired. Same for the $30 one too. I wonder now if they will accept it next month on April 30. The $25 coupon still works (AD3868JST). Now we all get to worry if that coupon will be honored.

Less than $100 at Dollar using Pay Now for 4/30-5/7 on economy to midsize. $138 midsize SUV, $194 STD SUV, $224 minivan. No codes or coupons.
Just was able to get the $25 coupon on my DDs 4/3 - 4/8 rental. $5 less that the free upgrade coupon. She's already check in to skip counter and all and I've printed everything for their trip so I'm not going to bother to change, but good to know it was still available.
Good reminder to keep that roll of quarters handyJust an update: DD picked up her car from Alamo yesterday. Very simple and easy process. Unfortunately on the way from MCO to Pop they decided to stop at a Publix and encountered an "exact change" only exit and had no change. I called Alamo today and their policy is a $3.95 charge per day for the day the "pass" is activated plus whatever the toll charge is. I was told it would take 30- 60 days to show up and would be billed directly to DD's credit card and she would receive a snail mail letter from Alamo.
Also she picked a Hyundai Elantra and they keys she was given do not have an electronic lock and unlock feature so no ability to "beep" to find car in the parking lots. I should have told her to pick a Nissan!

From what I've read, I believe that additional charge maxes out at 3 days, after which she'll only pay the tolls. The Florida highways are set up with a good design to keep traffic flowing and an extra $12 might be worth it to keep my vacation flowing along the same lanes.
Thanks for the link - looks like the info I had read was old and they upped the cost. For my reservation, unless I get lost, I should only be on toll roads two days. Glad they don't whack us with the $20 fee right on the first day of use.I always carry a baggie of quarters when I go, but forgot to tell her to do so. Bad mom. This is the Alamo policy:
$3.95 fee per usage day (24 hr. interval) that customer incurs tolls, plus tolls (at posted cash/TOLL-BY-PLATE rates)
$19.75 maximum fee per rental period plus tolls (at posted cash/TOLL-BY-PLATE rates)
Participation is automatic.
Opt-in decision is made when the driver elects to use EXPRESS, SunPass ONLY, E-PASS ONLY or LeeWay ONLY lanes.
Nothing to decide at time of rental.

Is anyone having trouble checking in on Alamo? It keeps telling me that the coupon is invalid and tells me to continue without coupon, which is fine, but it won't let me go any farther than that. Just keeps giving me the same red line at the top about the coupon. Once it told me to put in correct values for my name and confirmation number, which are correct. I leave tomorrow, so of course the rates are through the roof so I can't just re-book. Has anyone run into this in the past?

From what others are saying, you will have to call in to Alamo and have a CSR remove the coupon. They can remove the coupon and keep the rate you had (less the coupon, although some have said that the CSR was able to give them credit for the coupon value also - YMMV)Is anyone having trouble checking in on Alamo? With the "invalid coupon" still on the reservation, the Kiosk will error out also and you'll end up in the line for the counter.Just realized you can still print the reservation today, and use the kiosk tomorrow. Hopefully it will work out tomorrow. Enjoy your trip!
I just used a $50 coupon code that worked for my reservation, now crossing my fingers that it works when I do the online check in.The code is AD4004JDK in case anyone wants to try it. I now have my midsize SUV rental down to $206.85.
